ARCH was set up in the year 2000, to impart industrially and globally relevant, specialized education in Design. Through 18 years of our journey, we have grown into a strong community of 6000 professionals, alumni, students, teaching faculty and support staff. ARCH has conducted several workshops for Skill Entrepreneurship Development Courses sponsored by government bodies. To promote entrepreneurship, the Incubation cell – HUB IN at the campus provides budding entrepreneurs with appropriate environment and support.

ARCH Placement Cell interacts with reputed organizations for arranging placements. Recent placements & internships have been with Nitin Bal Chauhan, Anita Dongre, Ritu Beri, Nida Mahmood, Amrapali, Orra Diamonds, K2India, Muse and many more.

All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) conducted by ARCH is meant for students seeking fulfilling careers in design. It is being conducted by ARCH since 2011 and can be taken by students from all parts of the world.

Courses offered at ARCH include Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Certificate level courses in Fashion, Interior, Product, Jewelry, Graphic, Photography, Digital Design and Design Communication, coupled with specialized courses combining Design education with Business and Entrepreneurial knowledge. ARCH is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan for Bachelor of Design Degree (BDes) along with Master Degree in GPEM. ARCH is also affiliated to Rajasthan ILD Skills University (RISU) for BVoc and MVoc.

ARCH in strategic partnership with Pearson, is accredited to deliver six BTEC Level 5 HND qualifications in Art & Design. Courses have been designed to offer a chance to students to progress directly into the 3rd year of graduation and go abroad. After successful completion of Level 5 HND courses, progression is possible to eminent UK Universities like Middlesex University, Teesside University, Manchester Metropolitan University and many more.

ARCH with Perth College, UHI, Scotland, jointly received the 45,000 GBP, UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI) 2012 grant for Institutional Capacity Building. Administered by the British Council, the grant funded activities and planned implementation of a 2-year project titled “Communication and Application of Design to Promote Mutual Creative & Cultural Industries”.

ARCH is also a voting member of International & National forums that include the World Design Organization (WDO), the International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI), and CUMULUS, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) & Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID).

ARCH is the official Consultant & Uniform Designer for the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (JMRCL) and has designed the complete range of uniforms covering all cadres for the Jaipur Metro Corp.

ARCH hosted an International Cultural Governance workshop in India with ENCATC, University of Arts London and University of Antwerp, with the support of the Government of Rajasthan. Results of the workshop study will be published by Palgrave Macmillan in late 2018. 

ARCH Jaipur campus is built in 60000 sq. ft in the heart of city near World Trade Park & Jaipur International airport. Accommodation facilities on campus and adjoining it make staying convenient for outstation students. Proximity of the campus to an important apparel export promotion area of the Government, helps students to easily connect with artisans of various creative industries. Jaipur, being a World Craft City and a part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network has a lot to offer to Design students. Within 5 kms radius of the campus are prominent art and culture centers and the walled city which is the main hub of artisans. All of these enhance the learning experience of the student.

BDes batches at Arch College of Design and Business are scheduled to start between July and August. Some foundation modules might begin as early as May for specific student groups. Once you receive your admission offer and pay the fees, the college will send you a detailed induction schedule.
