Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) has announced new application and exam dates for IIAD Entrance Exam 2020. The application process for IIAD exam will close on June 8, 2020.

IIAD application window 2020 extended again

IIAD application process has been extended once again by Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD). Candidates can now fill their IIAD application form till June 8, 2020. Apart from this, IIAD Entrance Exam has also been re-scheduled to June 12 and June 13, 2020. Candidates can opt to give IIAD entrance exam online or offline. The online entrance test for IIAD admissions can be given by candidates from the comfort of their home. However, for the offline test candidates need to appear for the test at IIAD campus.

The average salary offered during the IIAD Delhi placements 2025 was INR 7.5 LPA. Furthermore, the highest salary offered to the 2025 batch was INR 12 LPA. IIAD has more than 500 industry linkages. The placement success rate is of 95%.

The highest and average package offered during the IIAD placements 2025 were INR 12 LPA and INR 7.5 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters included Pero, Levi's, Prapun, NDTV, House of Heirloom, YWalls, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, etc.

The Indian Institute of Art and Design placement percentage for recent drives has not been disclosed. IIAD offers the MBA course in the Luxury and Fashion Business Management field. Admissions to the course are entrance-based and scores of the iMAT exam is accepted.

Candidates are selected for IIAD UG and PG programmes on the basis of the following:

  • Performance in the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) or iMAT (for management programmes)
  • Performance in the Studio Test/Personal Interview
  • Portfolio review (for some programmes)

No. The IIAD result is final and binding. Re-evaluation is not available as the process includes interviews and subjective assessments.

The process is similar, but PG applicants (M.Des / MBA) are assessed using iMAT instead of iDAT, and emphasis may be placed more on portfolio, work experience, or interview performance.
