IIAD Entrance Exam 2020 dates out for online & offline exam
Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) has released IIAD entrance exam dates for admissions 2020. Go through IIAD exam schedule 2020.
IIAD entrance exam 2020 will be conducted in the online as well as offline mode by Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD). The application and exam dates have been extended for IIAD entrance exam in view of COVID-19 outbreak and the resulting lockdown. Candidates can now apply for IIAD exam till June 8. The online entrance test for IIAD admissions will be held on June 12 whereas the offline exam will be conducted at IIAD campus on June 13, 2020.
IIAD entrance exam is of 2½ hours duration. The entrance exam is divided into two sections which contain questions from subjects such as Logical Reasoning, Creative Thinking and Visual Aptitude.

IIAD Entrance Exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Art and Design to shortlist aspirants for admission in design courses offered by it. All design programmes at IIAD are offered in collaboration with Kingston School of Art, Kingston University, London.

IIAD offers the MBA course in the Luxury and Fashion Business Management field. Admissions to the course are entrance-based and scores of the iMAT exam is accepted.

Candidates are selected for IIAD UG and PG programmes on the basis of the following:
- Performance in the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) or iMAT (for management programmes)
- Performance in the Studio Test/Personal Interview
- Portfolio review (for some programmes)

No. The IIAD result is final and binding. Re-evaluation is not available as the process includes interviews and subjective assessments.

The process is similar, but PG applicants (M.Des / MBA) are assessed using iMAT instead of iDAT, and emphasis may be placed more on portfolio, work experience, or interview performance.
