Good faculty, many amenities, well maintained hostels, classes and labs .
Placements: This years pass outs are currently working hard on their internships and last year projects. Some of them have already received the placements while some are still looking for them. In my batch, as far as I know, two people have received their placements from 60,000 - 120000 / month.
Infrastructure: The classes are well built and air conditioned. There are a few amenities for students to pass time during their break, for instance a pool table and a TT table. The labs are well maintained and have everything you could possibly need for assignments. The hostels are well maintained and are in a twin-sharing system. The Hyderabad campus also provides a guest house facility for parents to stay in when they drop their children to college. The cost for that is 900 rs per night. The washrooms can use more maintenance, but they're relatively better than most campuses.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with most of them having at least 14 years of experience in teaching at nift. The teaching quality is better offline, as online is not that effective. The course curriculum is relevant and provides deepening specializations which makes the students industry ready. Usually during offline we have jury where a few judges and the student sit together and evaluate the work, however due to the current covid situation the jury assignments are online where we just need to submit pdfs for our works and are given grades accordingly.
Other: I chose knitwear design as it's relatively similar to fashion design and I would gain experience in working with different fabrics. There are many fest held in the campus when I was there for a few months. We had dandia night, bonfires, Diwali celebrations, craft bazaar and much more. The campus crowd is decent as people come from all types of places and states.

This is the best college in India.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary package offered will be approximately 12 LPA. Aditya Birla and Bewakoof.Com are the top companies that visited our campus for recruitment. Almost 100% of interns were provided in Bewakoof.Com and Aditya Birla. Assistant designers and junior designers are the roles offered. But the placements here were not that great but better than other Indian fashion
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were good on campus. We had fully equipped makeup studios with an occupancy of 50 persons and pattern making lab. We had a well-furnished lab with pattern making tables. There were 60 male/female body forms and 4 steam irons. Garment construction lab and 67 industrial sewing machines were also provided to students. There were well-furnished computer labs with 75 desktops. We also had a Chroma Studio.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were good, helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach well. Investing here is a waste of money but in India, it is best in my opinion.
Other: Our college has the worst placements ever. I heard it for the past 3-4 years, but this time, when I happened to attend the placements, it was a nightmare. Not that students didn't get placed, it's just that we weren't satisfied with the pay they offered. It was humiliating as we work hard for 4 complete years ruining our sleep, and then we get a pay which isn't worth our talent.

Placements are poor. We didn't even receive our security deposit till date.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good. The course named knitwear designing is equivalent to the fashion designing course. But, people choose fashion designing course over knitwear designing course even if there are vacancies in knitwear course. Students go to Delhi College for placements. Only a few companies recruited students during our tenure, but those companies were not from the knitwear designing stream. The result is not satisfactory. It's disappointing that we got nothing in return after paying a huge amount of fee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it needs to be improved in terms of internet, CAD classes and faculty members. Food provided in the canteen could have been better. A gym is available only for the namesake. Washrooms available in the hostel are not clean as the staff members don't clean the washrooms regularly. There are no washing machines, and they don't even provide a coffee machine to serve coffee at night. There are irrelevant time restrictions for hostel students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but there is room for improvement in terms of teaching. They should focus a little more on subjects that are more important and the subjects that would help the student to become a good designer. There were no good knitting machines for students to work and explore.
Other: Events organised on the campus are good.

Tremendously satisfied, just need to have more better qualified faculties.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students are placed in good companies, with the remainder pursuing master's degrees. The highest package offered was 18LPA, the minimum was 3-4 LPA, and the average package was around 3-4 LPA. Lenskart, Balenciaga, Bewakoof.com, and several other companies were the top recruiters. Fashion Designers, Fashion Stylists, and Knitwear Designers are the roles offered by these companies. 100% of the students got internships from my course at Calvin Klein, Shopper Stop, Arvind Mills, etc. for their summer internships this year.
Infrastructure: 24x7 high-speed internet is available on the whole campus. The college includes the mess, parks, hostels, etc. Our library, the resource centre, is divided into three sections. One with just books, another with books and crucial study materials for fashion in the second RC, and the third RC has books and Macbooks for students to study on the computer and browse the internet. The resource centre is open from 9 am to 7 pm every day excluding holidays. The classrooms are quite sophisticated and are aesthetically very nice Mess/Cafeteria is hygienic and serves food 4 times a day.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, but some of them are very arrogant, mean, and rude. Their teaching quality is just fine, and not great. The students have to work hard and study by themselves. Yes, the course curriculum is definitely very nice and on point, making us ready for the industry for sure.
Other: This course is an amalgamation of fashion design with a specialisation in knits. We get to study vast subjects like Fashion Styling, Fashion Forecasting, Fashion Illustration, Design Thinking, Pattern Making, 3D Pattern Making, and many more. I really wish the teachers were more educated and had much more knowledge about design in general and were more interested in teaching and less rude. There is an annual fest at each NIFT called Spectrum Issa. Students organise a 2-4 day festival that includes fashion shows, fate, dance, sports, games, drama, and fun activities. Students bring sponsorships from various companies on their own. Some or other events are always going on at the campus. NIFT Hyderabad's campus is in the heart of the city and literally every important place is 5-10 minutes away from the campus. The metro station is about 10 steps away from the main gate of the college. MC Donald's, US Pizza, and Starbucks are 2-3 minutes of walking distance from the main gate. There is a mall right next to the college. The Westin Trident Avasa is 2 minutes away from the college. Two scholarships are available at NIFT including Sarthak for the economically weaker section with merit and Udaan for the people with merit. There is an inter-NIFT competition every year at one of the NIFT centres called Converge, where a team of 50 students from all the campuses come and compete with each other in dance, drama, sports, etc.

Nift college Hyderabad Review.
Placements: Yes, the placements at NIFT Kolkata are good as over 90% of students got placed in reputed companies. Some of the top recruiters of NIFT Kolkata are Arvind Mills, Globus, GAP, Raymond, Park Avenue, Proline, Nike, Lifestyle, etc.
Infrastructure: The NIFT Kolkata hostel provides furnished rooms which include Table, Chair, Almirah, Iron Shelves, Cot, Curtain Rod, Light, Fan/AC. Medical facilities in terms of Doctor's consultations are available every day for 02 hrs at the NIFT Kolkata Campus and once in a week in the Girls Hostel. The doctor is also available on call to take care of general and specific ailments. Psychologist visits twice in a week in the campus to counsel the students. Canteen services are available within the NIFT Campus as well as Girls Hostel Building and offer Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc. Badminton, Table Tennis, volleyball facilities are available within NIFT Campus. Wi-Fi enabled Campus as well as Girls Hostel. Sick Room ( Doctor visits for 02 hrs ), Central Washing machine & Ironing facility, Water iron removal plan and RO water dispenser are available here.
Faculty: Faculty members were qualified knowledgeable and helpful to only some, not to everyone. No special teaching methods were used. The student-teacher ratio was very less than 15:1 I guess. Yes, we went to few industries during our course of 4 years. Faculty can be more energetic and friendly so as to get a better result from the student as there is so much to explore and work in our apparel field.
Other: Overall, the college is superb, and it provides time to pursue your hobbies.
