Review of Bachelor of design in knitwear from the NIFT Chennai.

Placements: At the NIFT Chennai, around 40–45% of the students get placements in our course. In our course, the average package offered was between 3 and 7 LPA. Various design and product design companies visits college for placements. top roles offered were fashion designer, product designer, brand designer, etc. Students also get internship opportunities at this college.

Infrastructure: NIFT Chennai has good-quality facilities and infrastructure for our course. Our college has all the necessary facilities for students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, sports, etc. were available for the students of the college. The college had pretty beautiful campus. Hostel facility were also given to the students. All the equipment was available for the students learning.

Faculty: Professors at the NIFT Chennai were highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were helpful and supportive of the students. Teachers were teaching students all the concepts in an easy way. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams at the college were not hard to pass.

Other: NIFT, Chennai one of the best centers to do your fashion degree as the standard of education they offer is enhanced by experienced professors from the design and garment industries. Infrastructure is brilliance but needs more attention on personal facilities. Chennai being a metro is again one of the reasons you should pursue your education here as you will come in touch with various cultural and social events in the city which in turn help you knowing about the various cultural, artistic value of the crafts from the region. The labs are well equipped and well maintained.
