VCD College of Designing has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with multiple facilities available in the college. VCD College of Designing provides hostel facilities to various undergaduate and postgraduate students. There are small classrooms and sophisticated labs available for students.

VCD College of Designing is a private college which was established in 2010. The VCD College of Designing is affiliated with the Rajasthan ILD Skills University now known as Vishvakarma Skills University (VSU). VCD College of Designing is also affiliated with the Government Women Polytechnic College, Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel Limited (HKRITA), and ADI.

When you join a BDes programme, you learn about the fundamental concepts of Design in the first year. You would not be expected to have any previous knowledge or background in the field of Design. In many colleges the first semester is common for all BDes specialisations. You would learn subjects like Introduction to Design,  Elements of Design,  Creative Visualization Techniques,  Design Drawing,  Design Thinking,  Principles of Design,  Physical Ergonomics and Rendering & Illustration.
