COVID-19 lockdown: Free online coaching for GATE Exam launched by Andhra Pradesh Government

The registration process for the free GATE coaching is on and the last day to register is May 7, 2020.

Andhra Pradesh Government, in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), decided to provide free online )
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) coaching to 3rd and 4th year engineering students of the state.

The free coaching opportunity of GATE can be availed by the Students belonging to Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology disciplines.

According to the source, there will be 12 sessions of each subject 12 sessions in 12 days, with each session being of 2 hours' duration. Each day, two different subjects will be taught by two different faculty members - one session will be held in the morning and another in the evening.

Students and faculty members will be informed about the schedule of the classes and the platform on which they will be conducted through email. Interested students can check the list of subjects and faculty members on the official website of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA). The registration process for the free GATE coaching is on and the last day to register May 7, 2020. Classes will commence from May 11, 2020, and attendance will be monitored.

GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted for admission to the Master's programme in engineering and technology. Students who are in the last year of their BTech or have already completed it can apply for the examination. GATE scores are also used by some PSUs for recruitment purposes.
