Out of 8,59,048 registered candidates, 6,84,903 (79.73%) candidates appeared for the GATE 2020 in eight sessions at 566 centres across 199 cities. UIET Chandigarh considers GATE scores for admission to M.Tech programme. Selected candidates are called for counselling. Aspirants can get admission in M.Tech without GATE scores provided they meet the selection criteria.
