Global Research @ Norway

CIT(Coimbatore Institute of Technology) has joined hand with the University of Applied Sciences, Western Norway for the projects “Advanced Nano materials for Clean Energy Applications” & “Nanomaterials for Energy and Health applications with ICT as enabling technology” during the year 2018.

Dr. R. Azarudeen, Assistant Professor,  E. Sudalai Manikandan, Assistant Professor, Chemical Engineering, CIT worked on “Polymer Based Stem Cells”  at Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway during the year 2017.

P. Selvakumar and P. Pavithrakumar, D. Elavarasi Valentina, M.R. Venkat Raman, Ph.D. research scholars of Physics Department carried out their collaborative research work in the area of perovskite solar cells at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway under Indo-Norwegian joint collaborative programme between CIT and HVL, Norway.

Global Research @ Finland

Dr. Saravanan Logan, Associate Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering had completed his Post-Doctoral Research in “Vehicle to Vehicle accident automatic investigation using 5G and IoT networks” & “Vehicle Positioning and Pattern Analysis” at Tampere University of Technology, Tampere, Finland during November 2016 to April 2017.

Students Internships @ NTU, Singapore

S.Tharini, student of Civil Engineering has undergone two months internship in the research area of “Determination of heavy metals using paper based sampling” at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

V. Roshini, student of Chemical Engineering pursued her two months internship in the research area of “Expression and purification of protein from bacterial cells and its applications in health” at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore”.

J. Roshini, student of Chemical Engineering has undergone two months internship in the research area of “Stabilization of ferrofluids and its potential application towards a self pumping magnetic cooling system” at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
