Applied for engineering state and university exams? MHRD has postponed JEE Main 2020 dates. Exams might get affected due to COVID 19 outbreak. Read the article below.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed JEE Main 2020, one of the most important exams for all the engineering and architectural aspirants. The decision has been due to the COVID 19 outbreak in the country. The authority has taken this measure keeping mind the safety and risk of mass gathering and travelling to appear in  JEE Main 2020 exam centres from distant places. On March 18, MHRD had also ordered CBSE, NIOS, and university exams to delay the exam dates. According to the officials, the new exam dates will be announced on or after March 31 after proper re-assessment of the current situation in the country.

As the popular national level entrance test, JEE Main 2020 exam, is postponed, many other state and university level exams which are scheduled to be held in the month of April or May are on the verge of delay.  Therefore candidates are advised not to book their slots (if required) before the announcement of new JEE Main 2020 exam dates for April session. The slot booking of many popular exams is going to start from the first week of April 2020 onwards. To avoid any confusion or chaos, candidates should maintain calm and are suggested to wait for the official notification of the respective colleges/institutes. It is most likely that all other states/university level examinations will be postponed until the prevalent situation is under control.
