Admission evaluation at ICFAI University Dehradun is based on merit, with consideration given to academic achievements, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes, and other extracurricular activities. Haridwar University accepts entrance exam scores for admission to most of the courses. For getting admission in the BTech course at GBPUAT it is necessary for the students to give the JEE Mains exam. Additionally, minimum 45% aggregate in the class 12 exam is required. Inorder to be accepted by the Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology, the candidate must have scored 50 and above. He or she must have a valid score and rank in JEE or UKSEE or state government recognised entrance exams for B.Tech.  For B.Tech lateral entry there is no entrance exam but they should hold a Diploma in engineering or BSc in Mathematics. 

Eligible Candidates need to have a valid score In GATE for M.Tech or PG. The final students to be selected will be based on a written test, GDPI, academic merit, work experience and score in applicable exams. 

As per the latest information, in the 2023 India Today rankings, COER University was ranked #177 among the Engineering colleges in India. Earlier in 2022, the university was ranked #183 under the same category. Upon comparing both years data, it was observed that the university showed improvement in 2023 in terms of ranking.

Students aspiring to get admission to the BTech courses offered by Amrapali University must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria.
