Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Firozabad

The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field. 

For admission to the IIT Kanpur BTech programme, qualifying JEE Main is mandatory to become eligible for JEE Advanced. Only candidates who clear JEE Advanced can be considered for BTech admission at IIT Kanpur through JoSAA counselling. 

IIT Varanasi BTech admission is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Students qualify Class 12 from the recognised board with 75% marks for general category and 65% marks for SC/ ST. PwD candidates. 

The BTech courses offered by MMMUT Gorakhpur last for four years. Moreover, this programme is offered with various specialisations, including Chemical Engineering,  Computer Science & Engineering,  Electrical Engineering,  Electronics & Communication Engineering and more. The duration of all the BTech courses is four years. To get admission, students must visit the university's official website and apply for the programme.

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per MNNIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 4777 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 9937 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

RGIPT BTech in CSE curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Additionally, students are also required to either go for an industrial visit or are required to make a project. Candidates who get admission to the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering programme are required to study some of the following subjects mentioned below:

• Inorganic and Physical Chemistry
• Computer Programing
• Engineering Graphics
• Fundamentals of Electronics Engineering
• Data Structure and Algorithm
• Statistical Methods and Data Analysis
• Microprocessor and Embedded System etc.

Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology and Galgotias University both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology is a better option since the total tuition fee for Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology is INR 270,000 - INR 556,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at Galgotias University is INR 2,000 - INR 596,000. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

Jaypee Noida University offers multiple scholarships for its courses. Candidates are required to fulfil certain criteria to be eligible for the scholarships. A few of the eligibility criteria are listed below:

• Economically weak students belonging to the state of Uttar Pradesh.
• The combined income of parents/guardians should be less than or equal to INR 1.5 lakh per annum.
• Merit is determined based on the following weightages of marks obtained in classes 10th and 12th exams. Class 10th : 15%,/ Class 12th : 35%. /B.Tech. 1st Semester: 50%. 

The application fees for JEE Main is written below

• INR 1,000 for Male unreserved, OBC, EWS category candidates
• INR 800 for Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category candidates
• INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category candidates

NIET Greater Noida has a seat capacity of 360 for the BTech in CSE course. Candidates are admitted as per the sanctioned intake and performance in accepted exam.
