NIE Mysore has released the BE cutoffs for the year 2024. As per the latest available data, the closing rank cutoff for the General-All India based on KCET scores ranged from 12747 to 103761. Moreover, the BE course with the highest competition was Electronics and Communication Engineering. Earlier, in 2023, the cutoff for the same category of students ranged from 9018 to 82211.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Civil Engineering was 25078 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at DSU - Dayananda Sagar University due to higher seats.
