Engineering Colleges accepting WBJEE JELET for B.Tech in Kolkata

WBJEE JELET cutoff consists of opening and closing ranks that candidates have to secure for admissions. However, candidates will not be guaranteed admission even if they meet cutoff range. There will be different factors involved in seat allotment. While preparing WBJEE JELET cutoff, authorities will consider different factors related to entrance examination.

WBJEE JELET cutoff will be prepared and released online. The authorities will release the WBJEE JELET cutoff after every round of counselling. Candidates will be able to check the detailed opening and closing ranks for higher chances of admissions into the preferred colleges and courses through the cutoff of WBJEE JELET. WBJEE JELET exam pattern is released online. Exam will have two categories. Category I have 1 mark questions and Category II have 2 mark questions. There are 80 questions in Category I and 20 questions in Category II.

The rank needed for GNIT admission to various BTech branches would depend on which category the student belongs to and which branch they have chosen. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 410186 to 1299159. As per the last date, the most difficult specialisation was BTech CSE (AI and Data Science), with the cutoff being 818107. Hence, the rank required should be at least 1299159 or below.

To get admission into the BTech course, applicants must complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45%.
