The entrance examination is conducted to provide eligibility to the candidates for admissions into the second year (third semester) of Bachelor's Degree courses in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy except for Architecture offered by the Government and private colleges of the state. JELET is conducted as a pen-and-paper-based test at various centres. 

Q:   What is the WBJEE JELET counselling fee?
A: 

Candidates have to pay WBJEE JELET counselling fee during registration. WBJEE JELET counselling fee is INR 500. Candidates will have to pay fee through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted by authorities. If candidates are not able to pay counselling fee before final date, then they will not be considered eligible for admission.

Q:   Will the WBJEE JELET cutoff differ for each category?

WBJEE JELET cutoff will be different for each category, college and course. While preparing cutoff of WBJEE JELET, authorities will consider different factors related to entrance exam and admission. For higher chance of admission, candidates will be required to meet minimum cutoff ranks determined by WBJEEB authorities.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.
