The applicants must undergo an admission process to apply for SoET, PDEU BTech courses. They must ensure that they verify their eligibility before application. For the eligibility of the BTech course from SoET, PDEU, students should go through the steps given below:

Step 1: Application Process: Candidates need to visit the official portal and fill in the application form along with the supporting documents.

Step 2: Shortlisting: It is done on the basis of marks scored in the previous qualifying examination and sanctioned JEE Main/ GUJCET examinations. To be eligible, students should have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 from a recognised board.

Step 3: Confirmation of Admission: Candidates should pay the course fee to confirm admission after the shortlisting has been done.

The CSE emerged as the top branch during 2023 placements, in terms of the highest package and the highest number of offers made. The highest package offered to CSE students was INR 56 LPA. Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/BTech Programs at ITM SLS Baroda University

National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG 2026 application form at cuet.nta.nic.in. The registration window has been closed. CUET UG application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of fees. Before applying, check the eligibility criteria for CUET UG exam.

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has released the COMEDK UGET 2024 application form on February 1 at the official website. The last date to fill the COMEDK UGET application form 2024 was April 10. The application form is available in online mode only. Applicants are not allowed to fill COMEDK UGET application form in offline mode. 

Admission to Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) involves a competitive process based on merit and entrance tests. For undergraduate courses like B.E., admission is typically through entrance exams like MP-PET and JEE Main, with candidates being shortlisted based on their merit in the qualifying exam. The selection process includes counseling for the shortlisted candidates, and seats are allotted based on a seat matrix. Similarly, for postgraduate courses like M.E., eligibility criteria are linked to the GATE entrance test, with candidates being shortlisted based on their GATE score and counseling determining final admissions. 

The DCRUST BTech course is offered via many affiliated colleges. Thus, the total tuition fee to pursue this programme ranges from INR 64,000 to INR 10.3 lakh,  depending on the choice of institute and specialisation. Students must note that the aforementioned dee is as per official sources. However, it is subject to change.

MCKV Institute of Engineering and KGEC - Kalyani Government Engineering College both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, MCKV Institute of Engineering is a better option since the total tuition fee for MCKV Institute of Engineering is INR 365,200 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at KGEC - Kalyani Government Engineering College is INR 33,600 - INR 3,960,500. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

The cut off for admission in B.Tech varies for different streams. For instance the closing rank (AIR) for Computer Science varied between 50k-70k in the last three years.Factors determining the Dronacharya College of Engineering cutoff are the total number of candidates appearing in JEE Main, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of seats reserved for candidates belonging to the reserved category, and the number of seats available in the particular course. 

CUCET 2026 Phase 1 exam has started. The authorities are conducting CUCET 2026 as an online, remote-proctored test until May 31, 2026. All registered candidates will have to register and attempt the examination to be qualified for admission into the courses offered by the institute. CUCET 2026 Phase 2 dates will be announced soon.
