M.Tech colleges accepting CEETA in Tamil Nadu

Candidates, after qualifying for CEETA PG, can get admission in the following universities and institutes -

• University Departments of Anna University, Chennai-25, Anna University Regional Campuses and University Colleges of Engineering. 

• Annamalai University and 

• Government & Government Aided Engineering Colleges 

• Technical Institutions funded by the Central Government affiliated with Anna University

• Candidates can also apply to the self-financing engineering colleges

CEETA PG stands for Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions for Postgraduate courses (CEETA PG), a two-hour state-level entrance examination conducted once a year. 

The CEETA PG examination is conducted once a year. The mode of the entrance examination is online. Candidates registered for the examination can appear for the CEETA PG entrance test.

The TANCET examination is conducted to offer admission to postgraduate business programs, such as MBA and computer application programs, such as MCA. Qualifying candidates can apply at participating institutions in Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, CEETA PG is a postgraduate entrance examination conducted to offer admissions to postgraduate engineering, architecture, and planning programs, such as M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan.

MTech is a two-year course divided into four semesters. SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur offers M.Tech in full-time mode in 27 specialisations and part-time in nine specialisations. M.Tech (full-time) specialisations are Automation and Robotics, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Cloud Computing, Computer-Aided Design, Construction Engineering and Management, Electronics and Control Engineering, Embedded System Technology, Environmental Engineering, etc.

Anna University, Chennai had conducted CEETA exam on May 10 offline.

Candidates can carry any of the following items along with the CEETA PG admit card -

Aadhaar card/Voter ID/PAN card/Passport, etc.  Candidates must make sure that they carry only the valid ID which they have mentioned while filling the CEETA PG application form.

A variety of entrance exam results may be accepted by Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) for admission to its engineering, management, and other programs. Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses across 13 departments such as Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Physics and Mathematics, among others. The institute also offers an Integrated MSc of five-year duration. Candidates can apply for admission to the course of their choice via online mode. Admission to all the courses offered by CIT Coimbatore is merit as well as entrance based.

KPR Institute of Technology admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The institute selects candidates for BE/ BTech programmes based on Class 12 scores. The institute accepts TANCET and GATE/ CEETA PG for MBA and ME programmes, respectively. After completion of the selection process, aspirants need to participate in counselling and document verification round.

If a student fails in the internal exams at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, they'll get the backlog.
