Rajasthan JET Pre PG Counselling started on November 21, 2025. As per the latest alert on the official portal of Rajasthan JET, the option form for the Final UG Round is being conducted for the eligible students. The last date for them to pay the online option fee is December 20, 2025. The date to display the provisional allotment is December 24, 2025. The end date to accept the allotment and to pay the allotment fee is December 28, 2025. The campus reporting date for the selected students is December 30, 2025, with original documents.

The JET 2025 Counselling is conducted in three rounds, i.e. Main, Final and Spot Round, for candidates who qualify for the Rajasthan JET exam. Candidates had to use their credentials, like user name and password, to access the Rajasthan JET 2025 Result for Main Online Counselling.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for B.Sc course to attempt Rajasthan JET Agriculture exam?
A: 

Candidates who have passed their Senior Secondary (Class 12) examination from the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer, or other recognised statutory boards are considered eligible for attempting JET in Agriculture. The eligible subject combinations will be:

  • Agriculture
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Physics

These combinations can again be depicted as ABC, PCM, PCB, PCMB, PCA, etc. To appear for the test, candidates must have passed all these subjects in Science or Agriculture streams with a minimum specified marks requirement, which usually is 50% for general categories and 45% for reserved categories.

Q:   How many questions will be there in Rajasthan JET Agriculture exam?
A: 

There will be total of 200 questions which will be asked in Rajasthan JET Agriculture exam. Since there will be five subjects from which questions will be asked in the exam. 40 questions will be asked from each subject. 

4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Applicants are advised to attempt the carefully in exam as there is negative marking in the exam. 

Q:   What is the difficulty level of Rajasthan JET 2025 exam?
A: 

The difficulty level of Rajasthan JET 2025 is moderate to tough. Students should know the JET syllabus. As per various students who appeared for the Jet exam, the toughness of the exam was moderate. All the questions come from the syllabus and current affairs.

Rajasthan JET Agriculture Counselling: Filling Online Option Form

To fill in the online option form, a fee of INR 5,000/- (Five thousand) + bank charges (if any) will be charged. If candidates are allotted any college, then they have to pay the Acceptance Fees of INR 1,200/ + bank charges (if any) to accept that college.

Out of this total fee of INR 6,200/- deposited online, INR 5000/- will be adjusted in college fees, and the remaining INR 1,200/- are the non-refundable amount and will be considered as the counselling fees. Note: In case of not depositing the remaining fee not reporting in college on the prescribed date or not accepting allotted college, INR 5000/- + INR 1000/- will be forfeited i.e., neither it will be refunded to the candidate nor transferred to the institute where candidate admitted provisionally. Candidate must keep ready the information and list of colleges along with order of choice on a separate paper and scanned copies of marks sheets or desired certificates (if any). Please do not fill college choice in the option form where the candidate doesn’t want to take admission. There will be no provision for any change/modification after the final submission of the option form. However, the candidate may edit the option for up to the stipulated editing date given in the Schedule.

The candidate is advised to check the correctness of the information before submitting the option form. In case of any wrong information the admission will be cancelled at the college level and the candidate will be treated as not reported this seat will be allotted to another candidate in the next counselling and the option form fee of INR 5000/- will be forfeited. If a candidate is not allotted any of the institute filled-in option forms, the fee of INR 5000/- will be eligible for a refund.

Q:   What is the fee for the option form of Rajasthan JET 2025 Counselling?
A: 

The total amount of the online option form is INR 6,200, out of which INR 5000 is adjusted in the college fee, and the remaining INR 1200 is the non-refundable acceptance fee/counselling fees. The acceptance fee is paid when the selected candidates are allotted their colleges.

Students who qualified for the Rajasthan JET Exam to get admission to their dream universities and to pursue undergraduate courses in allied Science and agriculture. Rajasthan JET is conducted once a year and this is a state-level exam.

Rajasthan JET Agriculture Counselling: Seat Allotment

The reserve seats are allotted to reserve candidates only; based on merit, 200-point roster and candidate choice, if option form of those category candidates is available. Else, the seat will be allotted to the respective reservation category candidates following the same pattern of merit, 200-point roster and candidate choice, from where that seat gets reserved. If the reserved candidate is not available then the seat will be allotted to the UR candidate.

Seats of not-reported reserved category candidates will be filled from the remaining candidates of the same category who have filled the option form. In case of non-availability of candidates in the same category then the vacant seats will be filled as per the reservation policy. The candidate need to deposit the fee of the allotted college online and report to the college on a given date along with all original documents and their self-attested copies.

The starting date for the Rajasthan JET 2025 Application form was May 6, 2025, and the end date for candidates to complete the application process was June 5, 2025. The application process was held in online mode.

The release date of the Rajasthan JET 2025 Admit Card was June 24, 2025. The admit card for the JET 2025 Exam was released a few days before the exam was conducted.

Rajasthan JET Agriculture: First Counselling

All the candidates will be arranged in a queue for seat allotment following the reservation roster and marks obtained in JET. JET score Tie (if any), will be broken based on marks obtained in 12th followed by in 10th and age. Higher marks and age will be given priority. The option form of the candidate standing at the top in the queue will be assessed and institutions in the order of priority given by the candidate will be allotted subject to availability of seats. In case of non-availability of horizontal reservation category candidate the seat will be filled by the vertical reservation candidate and then by the candidate stand in the merit. Through the above option form, three times provisional admission lists will be displayed for seat allotments.

As per the official brochure, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer and for every right answer, students get 4 marks. There are a total of 200 questions and the exam is conducted for a total of 800 marks. Students are advised to only attempt answers they are confident about else, they need to face negative marking.
