Yes, School of Food Technology JNTU, Kakinada awards various scholarships to students as financial support. Under the JNTU, students who belong to SC, ST, minorities, differently- abled, etc. communities are supported through Post Matric Scholarship Under Jnanabhumi Scholarship provided by the Andhra Pradesh State Government. Special encouragement is given for sports, cultural activities that are organised by NSS to inculcate leadership qualities among the students.

The mode of School of Food Technology JNTU, Kakinada course admissions is online. Admission to the available programmes is based on merit & accepted entrance examination. In general, JNTU, Kakinada accepts entrance examination scores of EAMCET and Andhra Pradesh PGECET for admission to several Engineering programmes.
