Yes, entrance exam is required for admission in MSc Food Science and Technology at DY Patil University. The final selection is based on entrance scores. The accepted entrance exam is NEET PG.

Yes, the specialised M.Tech branches have very good placement records. Students from Food Technology and Apparel Technology get jobs in niche industries. Companies like Priya Foods and various textile mills actively seek these graduates. Since these are specialised roles, the competition from other colleges is often lower.

MTech fees at MIT School of Food Technology for the EWS category will include a concession in the tuition fees. For EWS category students, M.Tech tuition fees is INR 1.93 lakh. However, there is no change in hostel fees for EWS category students which remains at INR 4.29 lakh.

No scholarships have been mentioned by MIT School of Food Technology for M.Tech students. Students who need financial assistance to pay M.Tech fees will need to apply for government scholarships. However, if students fail to secure any scholarships, they can try to apply for student loans instead.

MIT School of Food Technology has not mentioned any rules regarding admissions for candidates who are yet to receive their final year result in the M.Tech course.

Generally, institutes that decide admissions on entrance basis allow candidates to apply before getting their final year results. However, these admissions are provisional in nature. For final admissions, these candidates need to submit their final exam results.

Yes, candidates who want to get a refund from MIT School of Food Technology for M.Tech fees upon cancelling their admission. The refunds will be offered on UGC norms basis where early cancellation will result in more refunds being offered.

Any admissions that are cancelled after 30 days have passed from the last date of admission will result in 0% refunds.

MIT School of Food Technology M.Tech students are charged a hostel fees of INR 4.29 Lacs in 2026. Unlike the tuition fees, hostelfees for all M.Tech students remains the same. 

This fees is charged on yearly basis in two equal installments of INR 2.14 Lacs each.

MTech fees at MIT School of Food Technology is around INR 3.33 Lacs for the academic year 2026. The aforementioned fees is applicable to general category students of MIT School of Food Technology.

This fees will be charged in two installments of INR 1.65 Lacs and 1.68 Lacs in first and second year respectively.
