The hunt for knowledge ends in Miranda.
Placements: This university doesn't provide any kind of placement in any company. But it provides good internship programmes to gain the experience that helps them in their future jobs. It also provides good internship offers for students. The role offered is of an assistant professor.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not very high-tech but have fast Wi-Fi. Labs are well developed, and all kinds of equipment are present. The library is very useful, you can find all course-related books, which help to get knowledge about the core of the subject. The food quality is good, so you can eat once or twice a week. The canteen has good seating space.
Faculty: Exams are on an annual level, so the exam level is very down great but teachers are very strict. The assignment for very short period of time and they check the assignment very strictly. You need to make a proper assignment that does not have any kind of mistake. The course is very relevant, and the teachers are very helpful.
Other: Campus life is good. This university conducts many kinds of events in which student get experience of their college life.

Miranda House, beautiful campus.
Placements: Placement on campus is moderate, not that good. Only a limited students, approximately 5-6, of every course got placement every year. The average package offered is approximately 4 LPA. Internship programmes were also held on the college campus, but they are not paid internships. Anyone can do that internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Miranda House is excellent. Facilities are also very knowledgeable. Wi-Fi facilities are available in classrooms, labs, library and in the canteen also. The quality of food they are offering in the mess and canteen is good and acceptable for all. The sports ground and basketball ground are also on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They have many years of teaching experience, approximately 12-15 years. They teach every topic very well. Semester exams are difficult if we don't study the whole year. But if we study for only one month before the exam, it is easy to pass in all the exams with a good score.
Other: It is a well-known course in Delhi University and in other universities also. Many students go for it. We can also do research after this course. Events were held every month in the college, sometimes it's a festival celebration or sometimes it's seminars, competitions, etc.

MH is a women's college with hostel facilities and many more.
Placements: About 60-70% of students get placed every year in different companies like Amazon, Barclays, ICICI Bank, Dell, Blue Ocean, etc. 20 LPA is the highest package and 7 LPA is the lowest package. Roles offered are data analyst, consultant. They offered roles in finance and in IT companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good enough as you can find a beautiful and open garden on the campus. It's a wonderful place to spend your precious year while studying. Large rooms are provided, with computer labs and chemical and physics labs well maintained with important things.
Faculty: Teachers are some of the best teachers, from my view. It can be hard in the beginning, but as you go along, you can see how helpful and kind they are. The timetable is manageable, and you can study for other exams if you want to. You can find many societies in college to join.
Other: Math honors was my first priority due to my interest in math, as I was good at it from the start, so I continued it. Math is a special course that provides various options for the future.

MH is the cleanest college in DU. It provides good placements and has best infrastructure.
Placements: The placement rate is around 70–80 percent. The highest and lowest packages are 20 LPA and 7 LPA, respectively. Recruiting companies include Amazon, ICICI Bank, and Wipro. The internship percentage is around 60–70 percent. It includes companies like Dell and Byju’s. Top roles offered are Data Analyst and Consultant.
Infrastructure: Compared to other colleges, it is good. The Wi-Fi works well in most campus areas, though it can be slow at times due to server issues. Labs are well-equipped with essential resources. Classrooms have good ventilation with ample sunlight. The library, especially at Miranda House, is a noteworthy feature.
Faculty: Teachers are really good, helpful, and friendly in nature. They always try to clarify every topic and resolve any doubts. Class timings are manageable. Sometimes you have free hours to refresh your mind. To pass the semester exams, you have to score at least 40%.

B.A. Political Science Honors in Miranda House.
Placements: While I am still continuing with my course. The reviews from my seniors tell me that the college provides good placements. But it also provides a strong base. It helps in securing good internships and PPOs. I have a long way to go until I graduate. So all I can provide are reviews and opinions from my own seniors.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are air-conditioned (the majority of them). The library is huge, with a web OPAC that helps you digitally find your book. Personally, I find the canteens (we have four) amazing and economical, each catering to a different need and mood. The Wi-Fi, I’ll admit, is bad across the campus. It works well in some areas and cuts off completely in others. Overall, I give it a 9/10.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced and extremely welcoming. While some may disappoint you, the majority are really good and qualified. The curriculum, however, is outdated. Its practical aspects could be improved and taught in a better way (NEP guidelines). Lastly, the university exams are comparatively easy, as the saying goes, you can never fail in DU. It is the excellence that is difficult to achieve.
Other: The best part about the Political Science Hons course is that it is filled with depth. Societies and events happen every day, and it possibly has the most active society. The crowd is highly competitive and motivates you to be better and push your limits. Finding friends may be a little tough at first, but it gets better with time once you find your vibe.

Overall, it is moderate, but it does not come with expectations. Otherwise, you will disappointed.
Placements: As a first-year B.A. (Hons) History student, I am sharing details based on the previous passing-out batch. Around 40 to 50% of students are placed while many opt for higher studies or competitive exams. The highest package for History students is about 8 to 10 LPA, the lowest around 3 LPA, and the average package stays near 4 to 5 LPA. Common roles offered are research assistant, content writer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel and college is very good, but sometimes the washrooms get blocked. The library, labs, and classrooms are very good, but sometimes the Wi-Fi does not work properly. The food in the canteen is very good and affordable, but the food in the hostel mess is not as good. It is neither very tasty nor very terrible. There is a medical room in the hostel, and a doctor is always present. Sports and games are played in the hostel on weekends.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not like school teachers. The curriculum is academically relevant, though it is more theory-focused and not very industry-oriented. Semester exams can be challenging because they require extensive writing, often 6 to 7 pages per answer.
Other: I chose History Honurs because it is a very popular course at Miranda House College. The best thing about our course is that the faculty is very nice and helpful. However, the course is very theory-based, and more practical exposure would be helpful. The campus is vibrant, safe, and well-connected, with active societies, good events, and accessible scholarships.

On Cutoffs
Q: Β  What is the BA Hons (English) cut-off for Miranda House?
A:

There is no cutoff released for BA Enlish (Hons) courses started 2022. For other reserved categories, the percentage requirement was comparatively low. While the admission process has completely changed for DU UG admissions starting in 2022 and for the academic year 2023, the competitiveness and quality of students selected for admissions have not changed. So, it can be believed that the students seeking admission to Miranda House should have scores competitive to 99 per cent marks in Class 12 to increase admission changes.

Q: Β  Can I take admission in two different courses at Miranda House after the declaration of cutoff?
A:

No, candidates seeking admission to Miranda House or any other DU-affiliated college cannot take final admission simultaneously in two different courses after fee payment.
