Gautam Buddha University shortlists candidates for most of the courses based on GBU-ET. It is a university entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA, BTech, PhD, etc. National or state-level entrance exams such as GATE, CLAT, JEE Main, etc. are also accepted for a few courses. For courses such as BA, MA, MSc, MTech, etc., the admissions are based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

The entire admission process of Graphic Era University Dehradun has to be completed online. The university considers entrance exam scores for admission to courses such as MBA, BTech and MCA. The university accepts the scores of JEE Main for BTech and CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT for MBA programme.

The mode of MP Bhoj Open University admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance examination scores. The accepted entrance exams are Karnataka PGCET,  CUET, and others. Candidates going for admissions must first visit the official website and apply by registering on the official website. The mode of AP College course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exams and merit. The accepted entrance exams are AP EAMCET,  JEE Main, and others. Students applying through JEE Main must first register for the JEE Main exam. Then appear for the JEE Main exam. Then with valid scores, apply on the official website of Guntur Nagarjuna University.
