Q:   What is the eligibility for B.Sc courses at GLA University?
A: 

GLA University BSc admissions are subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. For each specialisation, the eligibility conditions vary. Listed below are the specialisation-wise eligibility conditions to be met by the applicants’:

  • Biotech- Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Maths/Biotechnology with at least 50% aggregate
  • Physics- Class 12 with Physics with at least 50% aggregate
  • Chemistry- Passed Class 12 with Chemistry with a minimum of 50% aggregate
  • Agriculture- Passed Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture or a two-year Diploma in Agriculture with at least 50% aggregate.

Note: 5% relaxation is provided to SC/ST category students

Q:   How do I get a seat in VELS University?
A: 

VELS is a merit-entrance-based admissions institution. Admission to VELS University requires checking below the process:

  • Application: This has been applied online. Professional course application fee is INR 1, 100. In the process of making the choice, candidates are allowed to apply with the relevant documents.
  • Selection Rounds: The university receives VELS Entrance Exam to take admission to different UG and PG courses. Other than this, CAT and other entrance tests are also accepted by MBA. The university publishes a merit list that gives the names of the shortlisted aspirants.
  • Counselling & Document Checking Round: The shortlisted candidates are invited to counselling and document checking round. Successful candidates should pay course fee to ensure admission.
 
 
Q:   What is the BSc course structure at HICAS?
A: 

HICAS BSc curriculum is spread across six semesters over the period of three-year. Hence, HICAS BSc syllabus includes MIL, AECC, DSC, SEC, GE, AEE and various online subjects. The institute follows CBCS and LOCF pattern. At the end of every semester, students are required to go for extension activities, aptitude training, internship/ industrial visit/ mini project. HICAS BSc syllabus varies according to the specialisation opted by students.
