Review of Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies.

Placements: There is about 60% placement rate at this college. The highest package offered after course completion is 4 lpa and minimum is around 1 lpa. Not much known companies come here but just less-known companies will come here, which is kind of a bad thing and mostly requires outside referrals.

Infrastructure: The classes are well structured but have bad facilities within them, be it the fan quality or the projector quality, and there needs to be a lot of improvement Wi-Fi is too bad and network issues are heavy in here. The library just had the course books and no other extra books present.

Faculty: The faculty is good with the teaching and gives guidance to students regarding assignments and other such things, which is the only positive part of the semester exams, which are based on university papers. The new department head is a turn-off and does not consider any issues brought to them, including the principal.

I would not recommend students to join this college.

Placements: Almost 30% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered was 3.74 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.50 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Oyo, IBM, Macfee, etc. Internships are not offered in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. Our campus is not Wi-Fi-enabled. Laboratory is not available. Our classrooms are not maintained. The canteen facility is not good.

Faculty: Faculty members are not good in our college. I would recommend students not to take admission in this college.

Other: In our college, sports activities and events are not good.

Really dissatisfied because of the bad campus, faculty and teaching quality.

Placements: There are no proper placements in our college. The lowest package offered is 5,000, and the highest package offered is around 12,000 per month. There are no top recruiting companies in our college, and no internships are provided. Students have to find internships on websites like Internshala, LinkedIn etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is worst than any other college, and we don't have a proper water facility in restrooms, nor a bin even. We don't have Wi-Fi and medical facilities. Our college does not have a good canteen, and there is no breakfast provided other than Maggi. We don't have a college ground nor the proper sports facilities.

Faculty: We have the worst teachers in the BCA department. The HOD of BCA is from different background, and she never handled computer science, and this is her first experience. She doesn't have basic knowledge of computers. Semester exams are a bit difficult since we have the worst coaching. We have to study on our own and try to clear our own doubts. The pass percentage is 45%.

Other: There are no extracurricular activities conducted by the college. We don't have any events and fests like other colleges. It is not worth the money.

I am highly dissatisfied because of no good faculty members and no placements.

Placements: Placements were no offered in our college because none of the companies came to our college. None of the students got an internship from this course. Roles were also not offered in this course. It was seriously a waste of money.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are not good. The only best thing in our college is Wi-Fi, and everyone can have access to the high-speed internet. Labs are awesome, but there are no mess and canteen. Medical facilities are also not available here. Sports and game events are conducted.

Faculty: Some teachers were helpful, but the majority of them were not helpful. There is no quality in teaching, and they won't guide us in a proper way on how to learn and what to learn. They only focus on finishing the syllabus, and they don't have any interest in teaching. This course curriculum isn't relevant. Most importantly, it doesn't make students industry-ready.

Other: I regret much after joining this college as there are no fests and events. The campus isn't at all good, and it is very small with a single building. Scholarships are not available, and there are no extracurricular activities. It is a waste of time and money joining here.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with our college.

Placements: Not even a single company visited our college for placements. There will be some pool campus interviews where none of the students gets placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad here. Our college has converted a classroom into a computer lab. I don't know about the hostel. Facilities in our college are really bad.

Faculty: Faculty members are average here. Some of them are well qualified. Our college is affiliated to Bangalore University, so it is easy to score marks in exams.

Other: Not even a single event or fest is organised in our college. The campus connectivity is good, and you'll get buses from anywhere in Bangalore. Extracurricular activities are not organised in our college, and the campus life is very bad.

It is one of the worst colleges for placements.

Placements: We were offered a few very bad call centre placements. Most of the students were not interested in working in call centres or BPOs, so the majority of us didn't attend the interviews. Around 10% of the students got placed in BPOs. The placement officer was of no use, and he didn't want to help any of the students.

Infrastructure: We have a library, and they provide students with good Wi-Fi. Food provided in the canteen is good. Facilities provided by the college are good, and they have all the facilities. In each bench, a charger point is provided for both laptop and mobile.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are qualified and well-knowledgeable. Students are not well-trained, but to an extend, students are industry-ready. Teachers are very helpful. They not only teach according to the textbook but also provide information about the companies and also provide us with webinars.

Review of RIBS - Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies.

Placements: Our batch was the first BCA batch in RIBS, so we never had a placement opportunity here. Not even a single student was placed. College never took placements of students seriously. Only MBA students were given more importance than UG people. Not even a single company was called for the campus selection.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were good, and even the computer lab for BCA students was quite good. We had a separate library too. Classrooms had projector facility. The college also had an open ground. The worst part of the college was that it was located near a local slum. The college infrastructure was not so great, like the main campus.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very friendly, but the teaching part was literally bad, and the teachers were not so qualified. Their way of communication and teaching was poor. MBA people have highly qualified lecturers, but UG people have the worst lecturers.

Other: Initially, we were fooled by fooled saying that RIBS and Ramaiah main campus are same and we will be shifted to the main campus in 2 months, but later we got know that RIBS and Ramaiah main campus is different.

Faculty members were good for the BCA department until 2019.

Placements: Only one company came for placement, which was also not good. Placements are not that good for the BCA department, so we have requested for more opportunities. However, we were provided with aptitude training, so it was a bit helpful and very useful.

Infrastructure: Facilities in the labs were good, but we don't have mess facilities. Wi-Fi speed was decent at times. Labs had LAN connections for all the computers, and there were no internet issues with regard to labs. The computer contained i5 CPU, so they were very good in performance.

Faculty: Teachers were good until 2019 batch. After that, the HOD was changed for the BCA department. We had already passed out, and our juniors were affected by the change in faculty members. Teachers during our term were knowledgeable and had a good grasp of the concepts.
