BMS College of Law was established in the year 1963. BMS College of Law is a private college. The BMS College of Law is located in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru. BMS College of Law is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubli and is approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi. BMS College of Law offers undergraduate and integrated courses in Law such as Bachelor of Commerce LLB,  Bachelor of Arts LLB,  LLB and Bachelor of Business Administration LLB. Admission to all the integrated programmes is based on entrance-exam conducted by the college named BMSCLAT.

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.

PES Bangalore offers courses at the UG, PG and PhD level across the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Design, Management and Commerce, Economics and many more, The University offers these courses on the basis of merit and various accepted entrance exams. PES Bangalore fee structure includes a tuition fees ranging from INR 1.9 Lacs to INR 20 Lakh. In comparison to other universities, the cost of academia is higher. However, the University various other facilities apart from academia which is worth the cost being paid. 

After completing the undergraduate level course under Commerce, the candidates can find various jobs at entry or junior level in Accounting, Commerce, Banking and Finance and related fields such as Junior Accountant, Operations Management,  Data Analyst, Research and Development Manager, Information Systems Manager,  Project Manager,  etc..
