Earlier, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) had decided to scrap the IIMC Entrance Exam and offer admission on the basis of merit i.e. based on the applicant’s marks secured in the qualifying examination, followed by an online Personal Interview (PI) round. Due to the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), to ensure the safety of the students, families and officials, the institute decided to conduct the Remote Proctored Test (RPT), which will be conducted by the NTA on behalf of IIMC.
Students will be monitored at all times through their webcams/camera on their laptops and phones. Applicants have been informed about the Remote Proctored Test and the rules and guidelines which have been laid down. Students will be monitored at all times and if there is any suspicious activity, the examination will be cancelled.
