XET 2026 Centres: As per the guidelines by the Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC), candidates can take XET 2026 from wherever they wish to. Hence, there are no designated test centres for the entrance test. However, after the written online test is conducted, XIC conducts a further selection procedure, i.e., a personal interview of selected candidates at the XIC centres.
Those who clear the test and are shortlisted for interviews must be present at the XET 2026 centres. Applicants can select the XIC centre while filling up the XET application form 2026. The candidates should keep following things in mind while appearing for XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2026 Personal Interview round.
- Students need to reach XIC centre before scheduled time of interview.

Once the XET entrance exam 2026 (online test & interview) is over, the institute will release a tentative final list of selected candidates on the official website - xaviercomm.org. The XIC OET 2026 result will be tentatively announced on May 04, 2026 (at 4 pm). The selected candidates will have to pay their course's tuition fee to confirm their admission by May 15, 2026. After that the institute will also release a wait list, tentatively on May 16, 2026 (at 4 pm).
The XET admission form is released on Xavier Institute of Communication website. To be eligible to appear for XIC OET entrance test, students have to fill online form and pay XET application fee. Students can access the online form by clicking on 'Register Now' button on homepage.

There is no negative marking in Xavier's Institute of Communication entrance exam.
According to official website, the Xavier's Institute of Communication conducts the XIC OET entrance exam in English medium only. XIC forbids students from using slangs or short forms in entrance test. Any use of such words can result in disqualification.
The Xavier Institute of Communications will send the XIC OET admit card on the email ID provided during XET registrations in the online form. Candidates are required to check their Junk/Spam email folders if they cannot find their admit card in the Inbox.
No, a candidate cannot get their XET admit card in offline mode. The Xavier's Institute of Communications sends the XIC OET admit card only at the registered email ID of candidates who have successfully submitted their XET application form on or before deadline.
