No, aspirants can only take XET 2026 in English. All the questions will be asked in English and must strictly be answered in English only. The exam body also mentions on its website that examinees must not use any slang, informal short forms or SMS language while answering their questions. Such answers will not be assessed at all. 

The application process for XIC entrance test 2026 will probably start in the first week of March 2026. The application fee for XET 2026 will be stated in the online form. As per last year, the XIC OET application fee is INR 2500 (inclusive of GST).

Students should start preparing for XET at least four months before exams. It takes time to prepare for XIC entrance test. So, students are advised to start with syllabus early. Also, they are advised to focus on current events for General Awareness section and solving reasoning questions quickly to save time.

Yes, candidates who will clear the XIC written test will be called for interviews. It will be conducted via a Zoom call. Details about call will be sent to them on their registered email IDs. The interview will include questions based on general knowledge, personal academic histories, Statement of Purpose (SOP) submitted with application form, etc. 

Candidates will have to select their preferred XET date (out of the dates announced on the website) at the time of registration. The test link, password and login details will be sent to candidates just before their allocated time slot. More exam day instructions will be communicated to the applicants via this email by the exam body.

Yes, there are subjective questions in XIC OET test paper. This section is of 100 marks. The XET question paper includes 4 questions in this section to test students on media, social values, creativity, etc.

XIC OET holds a total of 200 marks out of which 100 marks are for the objective type questions and 100 are for the subjective questions.

The Xavier's Institute of Communication has not yet announced the exam dates for XIC OET 2026 exams. The expected date for XET entrance test is the first week of April 2026. The exact date and time of the exam will be mentioned in the candidate's admit card.

The XIC Entrance Test has two sections.

• Objective Section: Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, Logical and Analytical skills
• Subjective Section: Total 4 questions to test candidate's creativity, social values, writing skills, subject specific knowledge, etc.

Candidates will receive XET admit card via email at least a week before exam. They must also check their spam or junk mail to avoid missing out on admit card. Students are also advised to keep the admit card with them for further admission process after test.

Once the XET entrance exam 2026 is over, the institute will release a list of selected candidates on the official website - xaviercomm.org. The XIC OET 2026 result will be tentatively released in the first week of May 2026. After the release of the merit list, candidates will have to pay their course's tuition fee to confirm their admission.
