Absolutely satisfied with my experience in MIC.
Placements: Around 70 to 80 percent of students who sit for placements get placed, while the rest usually opt for higher studies, family businesses, freelancing or start ups. The average package range between 4 to 6 LPA, with the highest packages going up to around 10 to 12 LPA in good years, especially for marketing, branding and corporate communication roles.
Infrastructure: Hostels are decent with regular cleaning, security and basic facilities. The mess food is average. Sometimes good, sometimes repetitive but there are many food options on and around campus. Medical facilities, sports grounds, gyms and student activity centers are easily accessible and well maintained.
Faculty: Exams are moderate in difficulty. If you attend classes, submit assignments and participate in projects, it is easy to pass and score well. The pass percentage is high, usually above 90 percent, but scoring very high requires consistent work and creativity. The faculty at MIC is knowledgeable and many teachers have industry experience in media, branding, journalism and marketing. Teaching is mostly practical, involving presentations, case studies, group projects and real world assignments rather than just theory. The curriculum is relevant for students who want to work in media, marketing, PR, corporate communication and branding.
Other: I chose MIC because it offers a rare mix of business, media, branding and communication rather than a purely theoretical BBA. The biggest strength of this course is how practical it is. Some subjects feel a bit repetitive, but overall the environment, peer group, Manipal campus life and networking opportunities make it worth it.

Absolutely satisfied and would recommend it to passionate students.
Placements: Many students get placed. It depends on your skills and experience for this course. You have to read news and related material. Top companies that recruit include Reuters, the TOI Group, etc. Internships are offered, and CNN/BBC placements range from 5 LPA to 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel offers Wi-Fi throughout the college. It ensure students stay connected for studies, research, or leisure without interruptions. The accommodation provides everything a student might need for a comfortable and productive stay. This includes spacious rooms, study desks, ample storage, and ergonomic bedding. It promote restful sleep after long study sessions. Food is a highlight. Along with a diverse menu featuring nutritious, hygienic meals prepared daily. The hostel mess serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. It caters to various dietary preferences. It includes vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and regional cuisines. A good canteen is available on-site too.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. They have completed PhDs. They are helpful. They do practical teaching. They provide weekly doubts and road trips. Curriculum is relevant and industry-ready via projects. Exams are moderate, strict, and you can only attend them if you have more than 75 percent attendance. Teachers here are really supportive, and trust me, just come here, and you will have an amazing experience.

It has good campus life. But there is a lot of favoritism going on
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is about 40 students in each class, with there being only 2 classes, section A and section B. There is only one package in our course but you get to choose later in the following years. There are a lot of popular recruiters like the big companies of India like Swiggy, Amazon has also hired students from our college.
Infrastructure: Labs over here are fine. Hostel Wi-Fi is horrible, I come all the way to college to use the Wi-Fi. Hostels are average over here but I'm pretty sure that they are better than other colleges which offer much more worse. The mess is pretty decent over here as I have heard, it's much more better than other colleges. There are a lot of club activities over here so feel free to join anything.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. But their values are very hypocritical comparing to what they teach. I actually wanted to change my course mid way but in the same institute. They were very hesitant at first but then I found out that they are lazy to make changes.
Other: The campus is amazing. It has good vibes. Definitely it is a place to visit.

Good infrastructure and staff. Manipal has a great student population and really nice student life.
Placements: In the year 2022, 60% of students applied for placements and all got placed either through the college or from some other source. The lowest package would be for a copywriter around 20,000-30,000 monthly. The highest package would be for a marketing professional or a film maker which could exceed 3-4 Lacs per month. Schbang, Genisis, Dentsu, Social Panga and alot of other big names in the industry are some of the recruiting companies for MIC.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi all around the campus, the hostels have tv room, game rooms, table tennis, carrom and alot of other activities for students to take a break. There is biometric check in and frequent checks from the caretakers for any illicit activities or ragging/bullying. The cantene food is very tasty and healthy as it is veg and non veg.
Faculty: Trained and teachers who are friendly and knowledgeable about their curriculum and syllabus which they have to teach the students who are in manipal institute of communication. Syllabus is very relevant and very interesting as well. The semester exams are a breeze if your prepared obviously, alot of material to read but very interesting.

Great infrastructure excellent exposure with a perfect crowd and college experience.
Placements: The placements are not done yet. Like a good percentage of people have got placed. I'm giving a mid score cause there are no companies related to video production coming. All the companies are from Ad and PR. Which is great for a lot of people as many are interested in that. It's unfair to people who are looking for some in video production. Schbang and Genesis are some top companies that have come .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. There is equipment for everything. There is good amount of computers and Mac's for Editing Design and Animation. There's a running radio station in the campus. If you have good grades you get a really good hostel rooms too. There are no complaints for hostel and it's very active with lot of activities going on every day.
Faculty: The curriculum is very well defined and perfect for our course. There's important Communication subjects in the first year then from second year onward you get to choose electives according to your choice. Some teachers are good and put effort in teaching but some just don't take classes properly.

Then they send the mail to other candidates after they get the response from the first 200 candidates. suppose if from the first 200 rank holders only
