IIFT announces final selection list for MBA 2016-18 batch
MBA 2016-18 batch selection at IIFT
The final list of selected students for MBA batch of 2016-18 has been declared by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Separate list of selected students has been released for Kolkata and Delhi campuses.
The selection of the students is based on the following:
- IIFT 2015 scores
- Essay write-up
- Group discussion
- Personal Interview
42,976 candidates registered for IIFT 2015. Out of registered candidates, 37,723 appeared for the exam. The cut off marks for IIFT 2015 (general category) was 48.5. The total number of shortlisted candidates were 1506, out of which 564 students were selected for admission to IIFT. The Delhi campus witnessed the admission of 338 students, while 226 aspirants got enrolled to IIFT Kolkata campus.

The selection criteria of IIFT carried different weightage for different parameters. IIFT 2015 scores carried 65% weightage, essay carried 10% weightage, Group discussion carried 10%, and Personal Interview carried 15% weightage.
