I am not a huge fan of numbers though I enjoy playing with them. Hence, being a little biased towards practical and life-filled learning, I chose my intermediate in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry stream. From my childhood, I had a special interest and curiosity towards the concept of ‘life’ and Biological systems. Perhaps one of the strongest reasons behind this was my dad who is a medical practitioner.

Then I put my heart and soul into the curriculum and accomplished 94.8% in my intermediate.

But my curiosity to learn new concepts didn’t find an end. I decided to change my domain from Medical to Management! I’m glad to share that my parents respected and accepted this choice of mine. Then I completed my Bachelors in Business Administration, in short BBA with specialisation in Human Resources. I’m delighted to share that I was the topper of the college during my bachelor’s.

Subsequently, as an extension, I decided to explore the Management concepts further and joined Acharya Bangalore B School for my Master’s. I chose ABBS not only for its accreditations and achievements but for its culture, student-driven programs, placement records, 70:30 approach, and most importantly its awesome faculty support. It’s completely a space to Aspire, Accelerate And Achieve!

Q:   Which branch is best in BBA at ABBS?
A:

Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS) offers specializations is finance, marketing, and human resources. ABBS is considered one of the best BBA in aviation colleges in Bangalore.

Only the best get a chance to biuld a successful career in the aviation industry and at ABBS.

The highest percentage of students placed at ABBS in 2022 were in the marketing specialisation (40%), Followed by Human Resource (12%).

Q:   How are BBA placements at ABBS?
A:

Acharya Bangalore Business School (ABBS) has a strong track record for placements in their BBA program. In 2021, approximately 65-70% of BBA students were placed. In 2022, ABBS achieved a placement rate of 85% for their BBA students. The average placement package offered in 2022 was around INR 7.5 LPA, with the highest package reaching INR 22.5 LPA.

I chose ABBS not only for its accreditations and achievements but for its culture, student-driven programs, placement records, 70:30 approach, and most importantly its awesome faculty support. It’s completely a space to Aspire, Accelerate And Achieve!

After the completion of my bachelor’s came to the toughest task of choosing ‘The One’ amongst many, in fact numerous, Colleges and Universities that offer an MBA degree. But I think any toughest decision can be sorted so well if you know what exactly you want. I was very clear about my and my parent’s requirements. We wanted a premium B School especially in Bangalore, the IT hub, holding great placement records and Industry oriented curriculum. After thorough research and networking, I decided on ABBS as the one.

Then I tried to understand its admission process by enquiring with my nearest ABBS info center. I believe, to crack any test, first, you should know what will be asked! I polished my aptitude skills and attended the selection process offline. My previous academic records really helped me during the selection process of ABBS. After clearing the aptitude test I gave a personal interview. I had a MAT composite score of 575.50 which increased my chances of selection. After a day I got a provisional offer letter from ABBS.

Many students find the aptitude tests difficult. But I think it’s not so difficult but just a little challenging. With proper planning and syllabus division, anyone can crack it. I believed in the strategy of ‘go with your strengths’. Hence rather than worrying about pitfalls, I focused on my verbal ability and logical reasoning sections.

The questions during my PI of ABBS were also concept-oriented mostly. Hence, focus, determination, and practice are my mantras.

I’m excited to share my enlightening journey of masters at ABBS. It’s a place where I found a perfect amalgamation of knowledge, fun, creativity, opportunities, and many other life preaching activities.

ABBS offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes real-time business case studies, seminars, webinars, guest lectures, skill-enhancing sessions, and many more. Every subject is delivered with enthusiasm by well-experienced faculty.

I believe one of the greatest strengths of ABBS is its library. It has numerous books and journals covering wide genres. At least twice a week after my classes, I used to go to the library, grab a book and have some me-time.

After my first year, I had to choose my specialisation for further learning and my professors were my great mentors during this phase. ABBS has this concept of mentorship wherein every student is allocated to a professor for guidance. I am glad to share that I’ve got awesome mentors in ABBS whom I can rely on after my MBA as well.

ABBS also offers various clubs. As my interest lies in people management, hence I’ve joined as one of the coordinators of the HR Club which helped me to enhance my team working and coordinating skills. Now I’m serving as the Director-Creative Events of the club. This opportunity improved my leadership skills which are most expected by the corporate world.

I stepped in ABBS in 2020 and will be getting out in 2022. These whole 2 years are the best days of my life. ABBS changed me from a normal human to well-organized management professional. I believe no matter how much we are open to learning, we can only excel if we are provided with enough opportunities. I found these opportunities in the corporate with ABBS.

During my 2nd semester, we had pre-placement training sessions. I was groomed on every stage of the corporate interview process during this phase including aptitude, GD, debating etiquettes, PI, etc. These sessions were one of the finest learning I had at ABBS.

The best thing about being a student here is the degree of exposure you get. My sincere gratitude to ABBS for providing me a platform for practical learning & preparing me for the ever-challenging corporate world.

The short-term SMART goal of mine is to step into the corporate world in the division of Human Resource Management and apply all these years of learning into action. I have a plan to enroll myself in HR Analytics diploma after a year as it’s in demand now. I was always also attracted to the profession of a trainer. Hence, I have a long-term plan of starting my own soft-skill training consultancy and assisting many budding brains to find and grab their true callings!
