The first PGP Management batch commenced last year in July 2015 with 45 students. The tuition fee at IIM Amritsar is Rs 9 lakh for two years. Details of the breakup are provided along with the admission offer. Candidates can also opt for educational loans that are provided by leading banks for all IIMs. As per the Govt. of India guidelines, these loans are provided at concessional terms. 

The current activities and operations at IIM Amritsar are being conducted at a temporary campus that is located within the Punjab Institute of Technology, Government Polytechnic Compound. The final site has already been approved by the site-selection committee set up by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The new campus is proposed to be set up across 60 acres of flatland at a site near Manawala on Amritsar-Jalandhar GT Road.
