Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida offers five distinct specialisations to choose from Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations and Business Analytics. 

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida runs three major Business Management courses. These are PGDM (General), PGDM (Service Management), and PGDM (Marketing Management). The courses are approved by AICTE, accredited by NBA, and have been recognised by AIU as an equivalent degree to MBA. Apart from that, this B-school also provides a Fellowship Program in Management

The duration of the PGDM program is two years. The course curriculum is a blend of both theoretical and practical learning. Students are taught through case studies, workshops, and some guest lectures via experts from the industry. For practical exposure, students go for summer internships, which is a mandatory part of the course curriculum. The college itself provides internship opportunities to the students, in various fields. Other than that, students are encouraged to do live projects and some fieldwork to gain exposure.

Q:   What is the admission process through MAT?
A: 
The admission process for MBA/PGDM courses through MAT includes group discussion and Personal Interview . Some of the MBA colleges also conduct written ability test as part of the personality assessment test. In MAT candidates get the option to select 5 B-schools of their choice in the MAT application form, where AIMA will send their scores for shortlisting for MBA Admission. Candidates can choose from up to 600 MBA colleges which accept MAT score for admission. Once the MAT result for an exam phase is announced, the scorecards are sent to selected colleges. The colleges then contact the candidates for shortlisting process if they qualify on the basis of minimum MAT cut off. In case a candidate wishes to seek admission to any B-school other than the chosen five, they need to apply at their respective websites separately. MBA seat is offered to candidates only if they clear the group discussion and Personal Interview.

PGDM (General)

Students opting for PGDM (General) get to choose any two of the specialisations mentioned above. The subjects of the respective specialisation start from the fourth semester onwards. 

The student gets to study six subjects from its major specialisation, six from the other specialisation, two subjects from Liberal Arts, and one from any other domain. 

PGDM (Service Management)

Students opting for PGDM (Service Management) are taught subjects centred on the service sector. The program centres around making and sustaining service-mindedness, service operations and service plans. The idea is to prepare the student for the service industry. 

The student gets to study seven subjects from its major specialisation i.e., Service Marketing, six from the other specialisation, and two subjects from Liberal Arts.

PGDM (Marketing Management)

The focus of this course is to make students well versed in the fundamentals of marketing and its functions. Working on live projects and internships, as well as being at the marketplace and interacting with clients/customers, make up for a big part of the learning process. The major specialisation is marketing only, whereas the other specialisation is decided by the student as per his/her choice. 

The student gets to study seven subjects from its major specialisation i.e., Marketing, six from the other specialisation, and two subjects from Liberal Arts.

Fellow Program in Management

This program facilitates research studies which are divided into four components: mandatory course work, comprehensive examination, thesis proposal formulation and thesis submission and defence. 

The specialisations are offered in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management and Organisational Behavior, Operations Management, Information Technology, Decision Sciences & Business Analytics, General Management and Strategy and Economics and Public policy.

Internships

Summer Internships are the mandatory part of the course curriculum that every PGDM student must undergo. The minimum duration of the internship is eight weeks. The college provides internship opportunities to the students on the campus. Some of the top companies that visited for summer internships were Deloitte, TATA AIG, Dabur, Catholic Syrian Bank, PRISM Cement, Mars Wrigley and others. 

All the students got selected by Deloitte for its internship program were offered PPO (Pre-Placement Offer). The highest stipend was INR 25,000 per month by Deloitte. 

Students are also allowed to look for internships off-campus as well. 

Placements

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida has an amazing placement track. More than 375 companies visited the campus to offer final placement to the final year students. The profiles are offered in various fields including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Development, Operations, Retail, Supply Chain, Market Research, Customer Relationship Management, Digital Marketing and others. 

Many national and international recruiters come for placement drives. Some major players including the Big 4 participated in this year’s placement process. The major players were Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG, HCL, Xiaomi, ICICI Bank, Colgate Palmolive, Genpact, Phone Pe, Barclays, Accenture, Tech Mahindra and Kantar, etc. 

The highest package offered in India by Silicon Labs was INR 19.18 LPA and the highest package outside India was INR 27 LPA. The average package of the session was INR 10.51 LPA. 

Training 

Students are given the training to prepare for the final placements. There are practice sessions for resume writing, aptitude tests, group discussions, and PI. A student can seek any sort of help through the training and placement cell. Any student can reach out to any faculty member and seek career advice. 

The college also has a strong alumni network. Students are connected to these corporate experience holders to get better clarity about the working environment.
