What after TANCET 2025 Results: Anna University has released the TANCET or the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test results on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates are able to check the TANCET results using their email ID and password. A total of 33093 candidates applied for the TANCET exam for MBA and MCA admissions. Out of all the eligible candidates, 30691 candidates took the TANCET 2025 exam for MBA and MCA courses.
While some candidates score high in the exam, others may not have performed as expected. Irrespective of both scenarios, candidates who took the TANCET exam must be hopeful and check what they need to focus on after the result declaration. TANCET results will host the actual score of the candidate so that he/she can analyse the individual performance. Whereas, TANCET scorecard will not have actual score. With percentile score in the TANCET scorecard, candidates will be able to display his/her relative performance. Once the results are announced, candidates can log in using their registration number and date of birth. Candidates are also allowed to access their scorecard. TANCET scorecard hosts only the percentile score, while the TANCET results will mention both percentile as well as the actual marks secured by the candidate.

Participate in the counselling process: Once the counselling process is announced, candidates should note the date, time and venue for counselling and must participate in the process on the slated schedule and venue. They must note that they have to report to the venue on the given schedule only and request to change the schedule will not be approved by the counselling authorities. Hence, they must first register and then participate in the process to ensure getting a seat at a TANCET participating college.
Check previous yearsβ cut-off: Candidates can estimate the college they may get admission to, by checking the previous yearsβ TANCET cut off. By checking the cut-off, they can be sure whether they are eligible to take admission to their dream institutes. They can then prepare for admission accordingly so that admission is not delayed.
Take admission: Once the seat allotment order is released, candidates must check their seat allotment and take admission at the earliest by paying the requisite fee and completing other admission formalities within the deadline to avoid missing the admission opportunity.
Candidates should also have some backup plan ready, such as applying to private B-schools and participating in the GD-PI process to get admission. In case their TANCET score is less, they may also appear for other MBA entrance exams and plan their admission accordingly.

Anna University releases the TANCET results within a month of the exam date. In the past sessions as well, Anna University has released the TANCET results nearly a month after the exam was held. The table below mentions the past year's exam date and result date.
Soon after the release of the TANCET results, Anna University schedules the release of TANCET scorecard. Candidates can download the TANCET scorecard using the same link within a specified period. After closing of the window to download the scorecard, candidates have to pay a processing fee to get the duplicate TANCET scorecard.
