ATMA 2025 exam centre can be selected by the candidates while filling the ATMA application form 2026. The ATMA exam conducting body decides the ATMA test cities. Candidates can choose up to three ATMA exam centres. Recently, 28 new ATMA exam cities were added to the list. There are a total of over 100 ATMA exam centres.

ATMA exam is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India. ATMA is conducted 4-5 times a year at multiple exam centres across the country. ATMA February 2026 session is scheduled to be conducted on February 22, 2026. ATMA exam centres are well-equipped with computers, where the candidates are required to take the exam on the scheduled day. Read below to know more.

How to Choose ATMA 2026 Exam Centre?

Candidates will be allotted an ATMA test centre in the city of their preference. Check out the steps below to know how to select the preferred test city in ATMA application form.

  • Candidates need to register themselves on the official website of ATMA AIMS
  • After successful registration, candidates need to fill in the ATMA application form using their login credentials
  • Choose the preferred test cities
  • Candidates can select up to three test centres from the drop-down menu
  • Candidates must select test centres in order of preference, i.e. from first to third
  • Fill up the entire form and click 'Submit'

Q:   How can I choose my preferred ATMA exam city?
A: 
There are over a 100 ATMA test centres across the country. These cities consist of metropolitan cities, capital cities, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Candidate can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre. The process of test city selection is a part of ATMA application process. In the ATMA application form, there is a field in which candidates have to select the cities. They need to select the city of preference in order of 1 to 3. The examination authorities will try to allot the test centre in the city of first preference. Thus, candidates must fill all the three cities carefully. They must choose their home city or city of current residence as the first preference. Once the application form has been submitted, the request for change of the city will not be accepted by the exam authorities.
Q:   What is the ATMA exam duration? Can I change my exam slot?
A: 
The ATMA exam is held for three hours or 180 minutes. There is only one slot for the ATMA exam. ATMA exam has a sectional time limit of 30 minutes. This means, that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 30 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically move to the next section. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates will have to appear for the exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must make sure that they reach the ATMA exam centre by 1:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 1:30 PM.

  • Test centre details such as name, location, etc. will be mentioned on the ATMA admit card 2026
  • Candidates cannot change their test centres once the ATMA application form has been submitted
  • The exam conducting body holds the right to change or cancel any exam centre

Q:   What can I carry to the ATMA exam centre?
A: 

Students appearing for the ATMA exam must carry a coloured copy of the ATMA admit card. They must paste a recent coloured passport size photograph on the admit card. They must also carry a blue or black ball point pen to the exam centre. They must not carry any other stationery item to the ATMA test centre.

No other item such as bags, watches, food, etc. will be allowed inside the ATMA exam centre. They must also not carry notes or rough paper to the ATMA exam centre. If anyone is found with a prohibited item, he or she will be disqualified.

Q:   What are the details mentioned on the ATMA admit card?
A: 

The ATMA admit card is one of the most important documents of identification of the candidate. It is the proof that the candidate has filled the examination form and is eligible to appear in the exam. To help in candidate identification, the following details are mentioned on every candidate's ATMA admit card 2025.

  1. Candidate's name
  2. Candidate's PID number
  3. Candidate's roll number
  4. Candidate's address
  5. Candidate's category
  6. Candidate's signature
  7. Candidate's photograph
  8. Examination year
  9. Examination date
  10. Examination slot
  11. Examination timings

Along with these details, other information such as exam day guidelines will also be mentioned on the ATMA admit card. Candidates will also have to download a self-declaration form along with the ATMA admit card.

ATMA Exam Centre: Dos and Don’ts

An identification process will be conducted at every ATMA exam centre. So, candidates must make sure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam. The exam starts at 2:00 PM; hence, the candidates must arrive by 1:00 PM. Check out the checklist of dos and don'ts that the candidates must follow at the ATMA exam centre.

Dos

  • Candidates must carry a printed ATMA admit card to the exam centre as it is a very important document.
  • Digital or soft copies of the ATMA admit card will not be accepted.
  • Candidates are required to carry a photo ID proof (original and photocopy), two recent passport-size coloured photographs and a copy of the ATMA application form for identification purposes.

Don’ts

  • Do not carry any electronic devices to the exam centre such as mobile, laptops, calculators, etc. 
  • The exam centre gates will close 15 minutes prior to the exam and no one will be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • Candidates must not carry any eatables inside the exam centre. They are prohibited inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates must also not carry any stationery to the exam centre.

Q:   Can I appear for the ATMA exam more than once?
A: 

AIMS Test for Management Admissions ATMA is held three to five times a year. Applicants can appear more than once and the score of the last exam attempted would be considered for admissions.

Q:   Will the ATMA exam be conducted in double shifts?
A: 

No, the ATMA exam is usually conducted in a single shift. However, in 2020, the ATMA exam was conducted in the remote-proctored mode in order to follow the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, but the exam was still conducted in a single shift. ATMA exam pattern has not changed much over the years. ATMA 2025 exam will also be conducted in single shift for three hours, I. e. from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The shift timings for both the courses, MBA and MCA will be the same.

Q:   What are the dos and don'ts of the ATMA exam?
A: 

On the ATMA exam day, students have to follow a number of guidelines which include cooperating with the exam centre staff during the identification process, following instructions given be the invigilator and following the test navigation for solving the questions. 

ATMA exam day dos:

  1. Reach the ATMA examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on the ATMA admit card.
  2. Carry two coloured copies of the ATMA admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos and duly filled self-declaration form
  3. PwD candidates should carry the relevant certificates and documents as prescribed by the examination authorities.
  4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet
  5. Carry personal drinking water, hand sanitizer and face masks
  6. Cooperate with the test centre staff and follow the instructions

ATMA exam day don'ts:

  1. Do not carry prohibited items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, etc.
  2. Don't be late for the exam. The entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after that. Hence, reach the exam centre by 1:00 PM.
  3. Don't cheat or indulge in mal practice. You can be disqualified due to any such ACT.
  4. Don't leave your seat until the exam duration is over.
Q:   Which MBA colleges accepting ATMA scores are available with 85 percentile?
A: 

There are many MBA colleges which accept 85 percentile in ATMA exam. Sometimes, the institutes conduct multiple rounds of counselling where the cutoff may tone down a little. Q:   Can the test centre be changed after the release of ATMA admit card?
A: 

No, there is no provision of changing the test centre after the ATMA admit card has been released. In fact, there is no option to change the test centre allotted at any point of time during the entire exam cycle. There is no window for form correction too where the candidates could have changed the test centre. Thus, it is very important to select test cities very carefully in the ATMA application form. They must choose their first city preference as home town or the city where they are likely to be on the exam day or choose a city which is the closest to their hometown and they can reach there on time on the exam day. Also, to be allotted the desired test city, candidates must fill the ATMA application for at the earliest, as the exam slot and test centres are allotted on first cum first served basis. If the seats get filled in the first city preference, candidates are allotted a centre in the second city according to their preference. The students must check the location of their allotted centre much in advance and make arrangements for reaching there on exam day on time.

Q:   Can I carry a watch to the exam centre? Which documents should I carry to the ATMA exam centre?
A: 
No, candidates must not carry any electronic gadgets including watches, mobile phones, calculators, etc. Candidates should only carry recent passport size photograph, photo ID (original and photocopy), self declaration form and ATMA admit card along with them to the exam centre. The candidates can carry an Aadhar card, Voter ID, or passport, driving license, ration card, college ID. They must not carry any stationary item other than a blue/black ballpoint pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, ATMA candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer and face mask along with them. Candidates have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle only. No other item will be allowed inside the ATMA exam venue. Candidates must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the ATMA exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.

Yes, PUMBA accepts ATMA scores for MBA admissions. The ATMA cut off for PUMBA is usually high and ranges between 85 to 90 percentile.

Association of Indian Management Schools does not conduct a centralised counselling process for the ATMA exam. Each participating institute releases its ATMA cutoff and students who match it have to appear for GD/PI/WAT rounds.

JBIMS does not accept ATMA scores anymore for MMS admissions and it accepts CAT, MAH MBA CET, and GMAT scores. 

The ATMA cutoff for PUMBA is usually high and ranges between 95 to 99 percentile.
