The ATMA exam is held for three hours or 180 minutes. There is only one slot for the ATMA exam. ATMA exam has a sectional time limit of 30 minutes. This means, that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 30 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically move to the next section. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates will have to appear for the exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must make sure that they reach the ATMA exam centre by 1:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 1:30 PM.

ATMA admit card will be released online. ATMA admit card for every session will be released 2 to 3 days before exam. Students can download their admit card by using PID number and password. The process is as follows:

3. Select the ATMA exam date
4. Enter PID number and password 
5. Click on 'Log In'
6. Download the ATMA admit card

Students can download the ATMA admit card any number of times until the ATMA exam day. They should preserve the ATMA admit card until their admission to a management institute.

No, there is no provision of changing the test centre after the ATMA admit card has been released. In fact, there is no option to change the test centre allotted at any point of time during the entire exam cycle. There is no window for form correction too where the candidates could have changed the test centre. Thus, it is very important to select test cities very carefully in the ATMA application form. They must choose their first city preference as home town or the city where they are likely to be on the exam day or choose a city which is the closest to their hometown and they can reach there on time on the exam day. Also, to be allotted the desired test city, candidates must fill the ATMA application for at the earliest, as the exam slot and test centres are allotted on first cum first served basis. If the seats get filled in the first city preference, candidates are allotted a centre in the second city according to their preference. The students must check the location of their allotted centre much in advance and make arrangements for reaching there on exam day on time.

ATMA exam will be held in about 100 cities across India. Candidates can choose up to three cities as their preferred test location. The candidates should choose the test cities in order of their preference. They should choose the test city carefully as the request to change the test city later may or may not be accepted due to non-availability of seats at the centres in that particular city. The ATMA admit card is one of the most important documents of identification of the candidate. It is the proof that the candidate has filled the examination form and is eligible to appear in the exam. No, the ATMA exam is usually conducted in a single shift. However, in 2020, the ATMA exam was conducted in the remote-proctored mode in order to follow the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, but the exam was still conducted in a single shift. ATMA exam pattern has not changed much over the years. ATMA 2025 exam will also be conducted in single shift for three hours, I. e. from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The shift timings for both the courses, MBA and MCA will be the same.

There are over a 100 ATMA test centres across the country. These cities consist of metropolitan cities, capital cities, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Candidate can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre. The process of test city selection is a part of ATMA application process. In the ATMA application form, there is a field in which candidates have to select the cities. They need to select the city of preference in order of 1 to 3. The examination authorities will try to allot the test centre in the city of first preference. Thus, candidates must fill all the three cities carefully. They must choose their home city or city of current residence as the first preference. To login, students will need PID number and password. Here is how to retrieve the password. 

1. Go to ATMA AIMS website
2. Click on the login portal
3. Now, click on the Forgot password button.
4. Select exam date
5. Select the detail that needs to be retrieved. 
6. Enter the date of birth, registered mobile number and email ID which were used at the time of ATMA registration.
7. Enter the captcha code and click on the Find PID and Password button. Students will get a reset link on their registered email Id and mobile number.
8. Click on the reset link and they will be redirected to a new webpage where they can set a new password.

To know the paper pattern and ATMA question paper, ATMA mock test is being conducted before the ATMA exam. The mock test will be available on the ATMA official website at least two days before the exam date. Candidates must know that it is mandatory for the registered candidates planning to appear for the ATMA exam to take the ATMA mock test. To know how to appear for the ATMA mock test follow the steps mentioned below: 1. Visit the official website of ATMA AIMS 2. In the topmost bar, click on Mock Test button 3. Candidates will be redirected to a new webpage 3. Login using the email ID and password which the candidates used to register themselves for the ATMA exam 4. After login, candidates will be redirected to a new window where they will have a set of instructions that they need to follow 5. Click on the tab indicating Mock Test 1 after reading the instructions carefully and take the test.

The total score in ATMA exam is 180 marks. There are 180 questions and each question carries one mark. There is a negative marking of -0.25 marks. 

The ATMA mock test will be available online on the official website of ATMA AIMS. The mode of conduction will be the same as the actual ATMA exam. Candidates who have successfully registered for the ATMA exam and paid the application fee can take the mock test once they have downloaded the ATMA admit card. The ATMA mock test will be conducted for 45 minutes. The mock test will be conducted to familiarize the students with the paper pattern and prepare the students with the time-based exam and help them tackle the sectional time limit. Students must login at least ten minutes prior to take the exam. To login, students can use their User ID and Password which they received on the registered email ID. The mock test is mandatory for every candidate who will appear for the ATMA exam.

It is not compulsory but ideal to take the ATMA mock test for preparation. Students will know the type of questions, difficulty level, important topics, etc. through practising mock tests. 

On the ATMA exam day, students have to follow a number of guidelines which include cooperating with the exam centre staff during the identification process, following instructions given be the invigilator and following the test navigation for solving the questions. 

ATMA exam day dos:

1. Reach the ATMA examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on the ATMA admit card.
2. Carry two coloured copies of the ATMA admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos and duly filled self-declaration form
3. PwD candidates should carry the relevant certificates and documents as prescribed by the examination authorities.
4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet
5. Carry personal drinking water, hand sanitizer and face masks
6. Cooperate with the test centre staff and follow the instructions

ATMA exam day don'ts:

1. Do not carry prohibited items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, etc.
2. Don't be late for the exam. The entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after that. Hence, reach the exam centre by 1:00 PM.
3. Don't cheat or indulge in mal practice. You can be disqualified due to any such ACT.
4. Don't leave your seat until the exam duration is over.

ATMA admit card will be available online on the ATMA AIMS website. Students who have submitted the ATMA application form before the last date can download their ATMA admit cards.

But, if they have not paid the ATMA application fee, then they will not be eligible to download the ATMA admit card. So, they must complete the ATMA application process in order to download the ATMA admit card. Students should upload clear documents in the format prescribed.
