Overview

ATMA counselling 2026: Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) does not conduct a centralised counselling process for the ATMA exam. AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) counselling is conducted by the participating institutes which accept ATMA scores after the results are announced. The ATMA results 2026 was announced on February 28, 2026, for the February 2026 session exam. The May session result will be announced on May 9, 2026. Candidates who will meet the cut-off marks for the ATMA 2026 exam will be called for final selection rounds. The counselling rounds of the ATMA exam 2026 will be held at various centres. Candidates can select their centres while filling out the registration form for participating institutes after the announcement of results and cut-off marks.

ATMA Counselling Process 2026

ATMA counselling rounds include three rounds i.e. Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test as explained below:

1. Group Discussion: Students who meet the cutoff criteria will be called for a Group Discussion round by different institutes. They will be divided into small groups and will be assigned a particular topic for discussion. Students will be judged on grounds such as negotiation skills, managerial skills, communication skills, leadership, personality, etc.

2. Written Ability Test: Students will be required to take a Written Ability Test and write a short essay on any general topic allotted by the panel of judges. Also, there could be subjective type questions and answers rounds on the given topic. Students will be judged on language ability, vocabulary, grammatical skills, expression, etc.

3. Personal Interview: Students will then have to appear for an interview with an expert panel from industries or academics. The PI round will focus on:
