WBJEE JECA 2026 results are going to be released online. Follow below steps to check the result of WBJEE JECA 2026.

  • Go to https://wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca.
  • On the homepage, under the "Candidate Activity Board," click on the link titled "Rank Card for JECA 2026"
  • Enter your roll number and password, and Security PIN (Captcha) as shown on the screen.
  • Click the 'Sign In' button. Your rank card will appear on the screen.
  • Save a PDF copy and print the rank card. This document is mandatory for the subsequent WBJEE JECA counselling and admission process.

  1. Go to https://wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca/
  2. Look under the "Candidate Activity Board" for a link titled "Round 1/2 Seat Allotment Result for JECA Counselling"

Action Steps after WBJEE JECA 2026 Seat is Assigned

If you are satisfied with your allotment, you must complete the following-
  • Pay Seat Acceptance Fee: You must pay a mandatory fee of INR 5,000 online.
  • Download Allotment Letter: Once the fee is paid, you will be able to download your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter. This document is mandatory when you report to your allotted college for verification.
  • Physical Reporting: Visit the allotted institute in person with the allotment letter and required documents (e.g., Rank Card, Class 10/12/Graduation mark sheets, Domicile certificate) for verification.

After the WBJEE JECA seat allotment announcement has been made, candidates will need to confirm their admission before the last day. They would need to pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institute and get their documents verified. All documents must be submitted in their original form, along with a set of photocopies.

Q:   How much is the WBJEE JECA counselling fee?

According to the official information brochure, the counselling fee for WBJEE JECA is- 

  • General Category students: INR 500. 

  • Third Gender/SC/ST/OBCCategory-A/OBC-Category-B/EWS candidates: INR 400

The fee must be paid online. If the candidates fail to pay the counselling fee, their registration will not be considered.

WBJEE JECA 2026 Results - Important Points

  • WBJEE JECA 2026 results will be released as rank cards.
  • Candidates who are not allotted any ranks will not be eligible to participate in WBJEE JECA 2026 counselling.
  • Please note that duplicate rank cards will not be generated at any stage. Thus, candidates are advised to retain their JECA rank card for future reference.
  • However, if a candidate wishes to do so, he/ she must apply to the Board before the stipulated time limit. Such candidates will also have to pay INR 500 by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
  • Even though ranks will be awarded to all candidates who appeared for the exam, not all of them will be eligible for counselling.
  • To be eligible for the same, the candidates will have to secure the minimum WBJEE JECA cut-off which will be prepared by the authorities.
  • Moreover, it does not have any provision for post-publication review or scrutiny of results. Thus, all such requests by any candidate will not be entertained.
