After the KMAT Kerala exam has been conducted, CEE will release the KMAT Kerala provisional answer key. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be eligible to challenge the KMAT Kerala answer key by writing to the exam conducting authority. For this the authorities open an objection filing window of about a week. After the objection filing window concludes, the objections raised by the candidates are reviewed by the authorities. The CEE will then release the final answer key within two-three days, in case any objection submitted is found to be genuine. Notification regarding the same will be available on the official website of KMAT Kerala. After the final answer key is released, the CEE will release the KMAT Kerala results online.

The provisional answer key is the one released just after the exam and the final answer key is the one released after all the objections raised by candidates have been examined and accepted/rejected. The final KMAT Kerala answer key is released along with the result. It is the final KMAT Kerala answer key on the basis of which the KMAT Kerala result will be prepared. Which means, score of a student is based on the calculation of number of correct, incorrect and unanswered questions after all the objections have been examined.
