KIITEE MBA exam pattern 2026 has been prescribed by KSOM. The exam is a computer based test. Candidates are required to solve 150 questions from Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, English, General Knowledge and Issues of Social Concern. The fomat of KIITEE MBA questions is MCQ and there is negative marking. The number of questions in KIITEE MBA exam is 150. Read below all about KIITEE MBA exam pattern 2026.

Exam Pattern of KIITEE MBA 2026

Check below the sectional break-up of KIITEE MBA question paper. As per the latest KIITEE MBA exam pattern, there are five sections in the paper. Candidates can choose to attempt as many questions as they want. There is no penalty on skipping questions.

Q:   What is the section-wise weightage of KIITEE MBA?
A: 

Quantitative Aptitude section has 40 questions, Analytical Reasoning has 40 questions, English has 30 questions, General Knowledge has 20 questions and Issue of Social concern has 20 questions.

Marking scheme is same for all sections, i.e. three marks are awarded for correct attempt and one mark is deducted for incorrect attempt. Total marks of the exam are 450. Sectional weightage of each section marks wise is:

  • Quantitative Aptitude: 120 marks
  • Analytical Reasoning: 120 marks
  • English: 90 marks
  • General Knowledge: 60 marks
  • Issue of Social Concern: 60 marks

Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical Reasoning have maximum weightage in KIITEE Management exam.

Q:   How much marks are deducted for skipping questions in KIITEE Management?
A: 

No marks are deducted for skipping a question in KIITEE Management. There is negative marking for only incorrect attempts. For incorrect attempt, 1 mark is deducted. Thus, candidates must ensure they attempt a question only if they are sure of the answer. A large number of incorrect attempts will affect overall score more than a large number of unattempted questions.

  • Candidates will be awarded three marks (+3) for each correct response
  • One mark (-1) will be deducted for each incorrect response, while Zero (0) for no response

The difficulty level of KIITEE Management question paper is easy to moderate. Candidates can crack the exam with appropriate preparation of about three to four months. Q:   How much time is required to prepare for KIITEE MBA exam?

About six months will be more than enough to prepare for KIITEE MBA exam as the syllabus is same as other MBA entrance exams. Candidates can refer to books and study material of CAT exam to prepare for KIITEE Management exam. They need to devote 4-5 hours daily to exam preparation and practice sample papers of KIITEE MBA. Key topics to study are as follows:
