SRCC GBO exam pattern 2026 states that the question paper will have 100 multiple-choice questions, and the duration of the exam will be two hours. Q:   Are there any subjective type questions in the SRCC GBO exam?

No, there are no subjective-type or long form answer questions in the SRCC GBO exam. The SRCC GBO question paper only has 100 multiple-choice questions that are to be solved in two hours or 120 minutes. Candidates must attempt all the sections keeping in mind that the exam has negative marking. Candidates must note that each question in the SRCC GBO question paper will have four options. They will be required to choose the correct answer and select the radio button against the answer. If the candidate marks two options for a particular answer, then that answer will be considered incorrect. Each question in the SRCC GBO carries four marks and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

Yes, the SRCC GBO exam has negative marking. Each question in the SRCC GBO question paper carries four marks. One mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. This means that if the candidate has marked 40 question wrong, then 40 marks will be deducted from the overall score obtained by the candidate. If the candidate has marked more than one option for a particular question, even then the answer will be considered incorrect. To avoid maximum marks deduction, students must attempt the easier question first and then move on to the more difficult ones in that particular section. If the candidate is unsure about a particular question, they can also skip the question. No marks will be deducted or awarded for unanswered questions.

SRCC GBO 2026: Sectional Weightage

Admission to the PG Diploma GBO covers three processes. It includes the SRCC GBO exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. SRCC GBO exam is held in various cities across India, however, GDPI is held only in Delhi. Look at the table below to learn the weightage of each process.

Candidates appearing for the GDPI round must know that for the Group Discussion round, they will be given a topic on the spot. Applicants appearing for the Personal Interview will be assessed on parameters such as personality, communication skills and knowledge about management and international business.

The SRCC GBO exam pattern is similar to the CAT exam pattern, but the SRCC GBO exam is less difficult. The SRCC GBO exam has 160 multiple-choice questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. Instructions for SRCC GBO Exam

Applicants appearing for the SRCC GBO exam 2026 must follow the instructions mentioned below:

  • SRCC GBO 2025 will be conducted in a computer-based test mode.
  • The SRCC GBO 2026 question paper will have multiple-choice questions. There will be 25 MCQs per section with four options each.
  • The exam will be conducted for two hours.
  • Applicants must not carry any stationery to the exam centre as it will be a CBT mode exam and the candidates will be provided with a rough sheet for calculations by the invigilator.
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam begins.

Q:   What is the SRCC GBO exam duration and slot?
A: 

SRCC GBO exam is conducted for two hours or 120 minutes. The exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. SRCC GBO exam does not have any sec tional time limit as well. However, the candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. The SRCC GBO exam is conducted in the evening shift, I. e. from 3 PM to 5 PM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the SRCC GBO exam centre by 2:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 2:45 PM.

Q:   Can I appear for SRCC GBO exam more than once?

No, candidates can only appear for the SRCC GBO exam once in a given academic year. According to the admission guidelines of Shri Ram College of Commerce, candidates are allowed to attempt the exam only once per academic year. If the students is not satisfied with his/her score, they can apply next year. 

Students planning to appear for the SRCC GBO exam must check the eligibility criteria before applying.
