SRCC GBO exam pattern 2026 shows number of sections, questions, type of questions, marking scheme, etc., in SRCC GBO question paper. The question paper had 100 questions in multiple choice format. Duration of SRCC GBO exam was two hours, and exam was conducted from 3 PM to 5 PM.

No, there are no subjective-type or long form answer questions in the SRCC GBO exam. The SRCC GBO question paper only has 100 multiple-choice questions that are to be solved in two hours or 120 minutes. Candidates must attempt all the sections keeping in mind that the exam has negative marking. Candidates must note that each question in the SRCC GBO question paper will have four options. They will be required to choose the correct answer and select the radio button to select the answer. If the candidate marks two options for a particular answer, then that answer will be considered incorrect. Each question in the SRCC GBO carries four marks and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

SRCC GBO 2026: Sectional Weightage

Admission to the PG Diploma GBO covers three processes. It includes the SRCC GBO exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. SRCC GBO exam is held in various cities across India, however, GDPI is held only in Delhi. Look at the table below to learn the weightage of each process.

Candidates appearing for the GDPI round must know that for the Group Discussion round, they will be given a topic on the spot. Applicants appearing for the Personal Interview will be assessed on parameters such as personality, communication skills and knowledge about management and international business.

SRCC GBO difficulty level is moderate. But, it can be different for each year and candidate. A strong preparation routine and clear knowledge of syllabus and pattern of SRCC GBO exam will help students get good scores.

SRCC GBO exam pattern is similar to CAT exam pattern, but SRCC GBO exam is less difficult. SRCC GBO exam has 160 MCQs that must be answered in 120 minutes. It has 4 sections, Logical Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, and English Comprehension and Language Ability. Each correct answer is worth four marks, and for every incorrect answer, candidates will be given -1 mark.
CAT exam has 66 questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. It has 3 sections: VARC, DILR and Quantitative ability.
CAT is a much more difficult MBA exam than SRCC GBO. CAT is primarily used for admissions to various postgraduate management programmes, including MBA, in different IIMs and other top BSchools. SRCC GBO, on the other hand, is specifically for admission to Global Business Operations programme offered by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

Instructions for SRCC GBO Exam 2026

Applicants appearing for the SRCC GBO exam 2026 must follow the instructions mentioned below:

  • SRCC GBO 2026 will be conducted in a computer-based test mode.
  • The SRCC GBO 2026 question paper will have multiple-choice questions. There will be 25 MCQs per section with four options each.
  • The exam will be conducted for two hours.
  • Applicants must not carry any stationery to the exam centre as it will be a CBT mode exam and the candidates will be provided with a rough sheet for calculations by the invigilator.
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam begins.

SRCC GBO has a total of 160 questions. Each section carries 160 marks. For each correct attempt, four marks are awarded and one mark is deducted for incorrect attempt. There is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions. Therefore, the total marks of SRCC GBO is 640. Each section in the SRCC GBO question paper carries equal number of questions and marks. Sectional marking scheme for SRCC GBO is given below:

Q:   Is there an age restriction to be eligible to appear for SRCC GBO?
A: 

SRCC GBO eligibility criteria is the requirements to be fulfilled by the students in order to appear for the SRCC GBo exam conducted by the Sri Ram College of Commerce. There is no set age limit to be eligible to appear for the SRCC GBO exam. But, students applying for the exam must have completed their graduation or equivalent with a minimum required percentage. The students in the final year of graduation or awaiting the results are also eligible.

Q:   What is the SRCC GBO exam duration and slot?
A: 

SRCC GBO exam is conducted for two hours or 120 minutes. The exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. SRCC GBO exam does not have any sectional time limit as well. However, the candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that students will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. The SRCC GBO exam is conducted in the evening shift, I. e. from 3 PM to 5 PM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the SRCC GBO exam centre by 2:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 2:45 PM.
