SRCC GBO exam analysis 2026: The SRCC GBO exam was held on February 28, 2026. The exam was conducted in the computer based test format for a duration of two hours. The two hours included downloading the SRCC GBO 2026 question paper, reading the instructions, answering the questions and uploading the answers. SRCC GBO Exam Analysis 2025

SRCC GBO question paper 2025 was more difficult than the previous year. The Quantitative Ability section was tough, lengthy and time-consuming. The section had questions on topics such as Coordinate Geometry, Functions, etc. The Data Interpretation section had two very lengthy sets which required a lot of calculations and the other two sets were doable. English Comprehension and Logical Reasoning sections were easy and doable. The English Language section had topics such as Grammar, Para Jumbles, Reading Comprehension, etc. The LR section had questions based on Puzzles, Matches, Directions,  etc. An attempt of 60 questions can be considered a good attempt. The SRCC GBO question paper was at par with the previous years in terms of the difficulty. The arithmetic part in the Quantitative Aptitude section was tough and lengthy, hence, was time-consuming. The sectional time limit was reduced to 30 minutes and the student could not have switched between the sections. The overall cutoff for the exam is expected to be lower than the previous years. This year, the Quant section was the most difficult section and took the students by surprise. An attempt of 10-12 questions would be considered a very good attempt this time. The questions were based on Quadratic Equations, Algorithms, Algebra Matrices, Functions, etc. The Data Interpretation section was easier than the previous year. There were lengthy caselets that required a good amount of calculations, especially in the questions based on caselets. The Logical Reasoning section was also easy for many students. The section had questions based on Sets, Seating Arrangements, Blood Relations, Inferences, etc. An attempt of 20-25 questions in this section would push up the scores of the students. The English Comprehension and Language Ability section was moderate. An attempt of 28-30 questions can be considered a good attempt.

The overall difficulty level was difficult. The SRCC GBO cutoff is expected to dip this year. In the English section, this year there was only one Reading Comprehension passage. There were 2 RCs last year. Most of the sets in the Data Interpretation section were calculation intensive, so it was about picking the right sets. But because of the strict sectional timings, the question paper difficulty level increased and it is expected that there will be a 5-10% drop in the SRCC GBO cutoff. Last year the cutoff in the General category was 209, but this year it is expected to dip to somewhere between 195-200. A student who would have attempted more than 70 questions with 85% accuracy can expect a good score in SRCC GBO.

The SRCC GBO question paper was lengthy and slightly tougher than the previous years. The arithmetic section was tough and lengthy, hence, was time-consuming. The overall cutoff for the exam is expected to be lower than the previous years. This year, Quant section was the most difficult section and took the students by surprise. An attempt of 15-20 would be considered a very good attempt this time. Q:   What is the SRCC GBO exam duration and slot?
A: 

SRCC GBO exam is conducted for two hours or 120 minutes. The exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. SRCC GBO exam does not have any sectional time limit as well. However, the candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that students will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. The SRCC GBO exam is conducted in the evening shift, I. e. from 3 PM to 5 PM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the SRCC GBO exam centre by 2:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 2:45 PM.

Q:   Will I get admission on the basis of SRCC GBO results directly?
A: 

No, after the SRCC GBO exam is cleared, candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by SRCC, Delhi University. The SRCC GBO scores are accepted by the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission through SRCC GBO scores. SRCC GBO score is only the first parameter on which the candidates are shortlisted for admission. The institute first shortlists the candidates for WAT and PI on the basis of their SRCC GBO scores, marks obtained in Class 10, Class 12, and graduation. For the final selection, the institutes take SRCC GBO scores, performance in PI, WAT, Class 10 marks, Class 12 marks, graduation marks, work experience, academic diversity and gender diversity into consideration.

A: 

There are four sections in the SRCC GBO exam. All the sections in the SRCC GBO exam has equal weightage. Each section has 40 questions, for four marks each. Each section had 30 minutes of sectional time limit. Hence, candidates should be careful while attempting the SRCC GBO exam, as there is a sectional time limit along with negative markings. 

Q:   What is the marking scheme of the SRCC GBO exam?
A: 

SRCC GBO has a total of 160 questions. Each section carries 160 marks. For each correct attempt, four marks are awarded and one mark is deducted for incorrect attempt. There is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions. Therefore, the total marks of SRCC GBO is 640. Each section in the SRCC GBO question paper carries equal number of questions and marks. Sectional marking scheme for SRCC GBO is given below:
