Q:   What is a good score in the SRCC GBO exam?

A:

Candidates appearing for the SRCC GBO exam for admission to Global Business Operations programme, must have a good percentile to clear the cutoff to get into the college. The validity of SRCC GBO score is one year and students will be offered admission to colleges accepting SRCC GBO scores through their SRCC GBO result. To gain admission, candidates need to match the cutoff criteria set by the institute. The SRCC GBO exam has 160 questions and the total marks are 640. Knowing what is a good score in SRCC GBO exam is subjective, however, the current trends suggest that the following will be considered a good score:

Very good score- More than 300

Good score- 270-290

Average score- 250- 260

Low score- Below 180

Based on the scores obtained in the SRCC GBO exam, the percentile of the candidates will be calculated.

Q:   How can I calculate SRCC GBO scores?

A:

SRCC GBO score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the SRCC GBO exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded four marks. For an incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from the candidates' total score. This means that for four incorrect answers, four marks will be deducted from the total score. The raw score of candidates is scaled with reference to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam. The SRCC GBO percentile is the percentage of candidates among those who have appeared for the exam and scored below the candidate in that category. That is, if a candidate has scored 60 per cent, this means that 60 per cent of candidates who have appeared in SRCC GBO exam scored below him/her. Based on the percentile score of candidates they will be offered admission to SRCC GBO compared to others who have appeared in the test.

Q:   Do any IIMs accept SRCC GBO scores?

A:

No, IIM does not accept SRCC GBO test scores for admission. If you want to get admission to the IIM, you will have to appear in the CAT exam. With the score of the SRCC GBO test, you can get admission to the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce. Q:   What are the factors determining the SRCC GBO cutoff?

A:

The cutoff for the SRCC GBO is determined by considering various factors. This cutoff serves as the minimum score or rank that aspiring candidates must achieve to secure admission to the course. The primary factors of the SRCC GBO cutoff include the number of number of available seats, the number of applicants, candidates' performance in the entrance exam, and the difficulty level of the exam.

The exam's difficulty also plays a role; a tougher exam may lead to an adjusted cutoff. Additionally, SRCC follows reservation policies for various categories, which can result in separate cutoffs. It's imperative for candidates to remain updated regarding cutoff information for the specific year they are applying to SRCC GBO.

Q:   Can the SRCC GBO cutoff change from year to year?

A:

Yes, the SRCC GBO cutoff may change every year. The SRCC GBO cutoff depends on various factors such as number of available seats, number of students who appeared for the exam, seat reservation policy, difficulty level of the exam, etc.

Previous years' cutoff scores or ranks may also serve as a reference point when determining the current year's cutoff. However, cutoffs are not fixed and can vary based on the factors mentioned above.

It's important to note that the SRCC GBO cutoff is determined each year based on the prevailing circumstances and factors. Candidates should stay informed about the most recent cutoff information for the year they are applying and be prepared for the possibility of changes.

FAQs Regarding SRCC GBO Cut Off

Check some of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on SRCC GBO cutoff:

Q:   Can I expect a call from SRCC GBO with 242 score? I belong to general category.

A:

The eligibility criteria and cutoff scores for admission to the SRCC GBO can vary from year to year based on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of available seats. Therefore, the cutoff score required for a call from SRCC GBO can change from year to year. To determine whether a score of 242 is likely to result in a call for the SRCC GBO programme in a specific admission cycle, you should refer to the official SRCC GBO admission information and cutoff details for that particular year. It is important to keep in mind that SRCC GBO may have separate cutoffs for different categories, such as General, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). Therefore, the cutoff for the General category may differ from the cutoff for reserved categories.

Q:   Is there negative marking in SRCC GBO?

A:

Yes, the SRCC GBO exam has negative marking. Each question in the SRCC GBO question paper carries four marks. One mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. This means that if the candidate has marked 40 question wrong, then 40 marks will be deducted from the overall score obtained by the candidate. If the candidate has marked more than one option for a particular question, even then the answer will be considered incorrect. To avoid maximum marks deduction, students must attempt the easier question first and then move on to the more difficult ones in that particular section. If the candidate is unsure about a particular question, they can also skip the question. No marks will be deducted or awarded for unanswered questions.
