
NExT 2025 dates will be announced by National Medical Commission (NMC). Reportedly, NExT exam will be held in August 2025 for the first time. The exam will be held in 2025 for 2020 batch final year MBBS students. Earlier, National Medical Commission (NMC) said, NExT Step 1 exam will be held in February 2028 for 2024 batch MBBS students. Recently NMC released National Exit Test Regulations, 2023 comprising important details such as eligibility criteria, syllabus, and exam pattern. NExT MBBS exam dates comprise timeline of crucial events such as exam date, admit card release, result declaration etc. With NExT date, candidates can plan things in advance. Date for NExT mock exam was released, i.e July 28, 2023. But NMC later decided to cancel the mock practice test and refund registration fee of candidates who had applied for mock exam online.

NExT mock application process includes steps such as registration and basic candidate information, generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC), and completion of application form. Last date to submit application for NExT mock exam was July 10. National Exit Test (NExT) will be conducted by AIIMS Delhi for admission to PG course and to provide license. Once implemented, it will replace existing NEET PG and FMGE exams. The exam will be held in two steps, Step 1 and Step 2.

Proposed Time Schedule for NExT Step 1
