
NExT 2026 exam is deferred for the next two years. The authority will not release the NExT 2026 exam date this year. NExT exam will be conducted by the National Medical Commission (NMC). To appear for the entrance test, students must apply online. National Exit Test (NExT) was proposed by the NMC for postgraduate programmes and Medical practice licensing. Proposed Time Schedule for NExT Step 1
The authority shall conduct the NExT exam in two shifts in three days. The exam will be computer based test. NExt exam will be based on Medicine & Allied subjects, Pediatrics, Surgery & Allied, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Opthalomology. The proposed time schedule for NExT step 1 is provided below.
