DIT is not a Tier 1 university. It is generally considered a Tier 2 private university. Tier 1 universities are IITs, IIITs, and others. Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University Uttarakhand admission is based on NEET UG, NEET SS, Uttarakhand NEET exams. The institute releases the cutoff lists separately for these exams, for admisison to various courses. For instance, for MBBS admission, the exams accepted are NEET and Uttarakhand NEET. 

The NTA has released the exam dates for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be administered between April 2, 2026 to April 9, 2026. The Session 2 registration will open in the last week of January. The applicants are requested to fill the application form available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
