The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) set up a 12-member panel to devise evaluation criteria for Class 12 students. The committee will decide the well-defined objective criteria for the evaluation of Class 12 students and will submit its report within 10 days.
βWeβre in the process of structuring the criteria for CBSE Class 12 evaluation. We will put it in the public domain once it is completed. Parents, teachers, principals, and students need to wait for it a bit. Also request all not to panic,β Anurag Tripathi, Secretary, CBSE, had earlier told media.
Hereβs the official circular released by the board:
The Centre had decided to cancel the CBSE 12th exams this year in view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID crisis and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders. Soon after, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) also scrapped its ISC examination.
Following the Centreβs decision, many states like Haryana, HP, UP, Rajasthan, Goa, TN, etc called off their 12th board exams, while a few others told that they will take a call soon.
