Initiative by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship aims to build AI readiness through SIDH platform
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and Ministry of Education, has launched SOAR, a detailed AI skilling programme for students and educators. Skilling initiative has been launched in line with the National Education Policy, which advocates for future ready learning models and skill integration.
SOAR, stands for Skilling for AI Readiness, aims to demystify artificial intelligence for young learners and teachers across India. It introduces participants to the basics of AI, explores its real-life applications, and prepares students for responsible and ethical use of AI tools.
As per an official tweet from Ministry of Education programme is now live on SIDH platform. Students and teachers can register online to access course content.

Introduction to AI
AI in Daily Life
Solving Problems Using AI Tools
Do’s and Don’ts of Using AI
AI as a Career Path
Course is designed not only to introduce technical concepts but also to promote important thinking about AI’s role in society and ethical responsibilities that come with it. Through a blend of activities, mentorship, and practical exposure, the initiative seeks to make AI literacy accessible at the school level.
National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and Skill India are also key partners in the rollout of SOAR, reinforcing the government’s focus on vocationalisation and employability in secondary education.
How to Enrol:
Interested students and educators can register now via the SIDH platform using the QR code or visiting the official Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) website.
