HPBOSE Syllabus: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education will soon be introducing one school, one syllabus scheme for HP Board class 10 students from upcoming academic year. This decision has been taken to reduce academic stress on students. The board will follow up HPBOSE class 10 one syllabus scheme implementation across schools. HPBOSE aspires to be first board in India to fully implement National Education Policy (NEP).
Under this revised system, all government schools in Himachal Pradesh will adopt one teaching schedule, ensuring that the same chapters are covered during each quarter across institutions. Announcing this initiative, HPBOSE Chairman Rajesh Sharma said that common syllabus for HP Board Class 10 will be introduced from next academic session.
HPBOSE Class 10 SyllabusÂ
HP Board syllabus for class 10th will be divided into four parts, with quarterly exams conducted at end of each term. These exams will include both subjective and objective questions, and the marks secured by students will be added in final assessment. The HPBOSE 10th results of quarterly exam will also be included in final examination. They must note that same textbooks will be prescribed for all students, in some schools, chapters 1 to 10 are taught within first three months, while those in other schools study different chapters during the same period.Â
HPBOSE 2026 Exam DatesÂ
Himachal Board has already announced HPBOSE exam dates for classes 10th and 12th. As per announced schedule, HP Board class 10th exam will be conducted from March 3 to 28 in single shift. Whereas, HPBOSE class 12th exam will be held between March 3 to April 1, 2025.Â
