Maharashtra education board has decided to conduct the HSC, SSC board exams offline this year. Schools to strictly follow the COVID19 safety protocols.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has cleared that it will conduct Maharashtra HSC and HSC board exams 2021 in the offline mode. “This year, around 35 lakh students have registered for the examinations, and that it is not possible to hold an online exam for such a huge number of students, therefore we have decided to hold the offline exam,” said Dinkar Patil, Chairman, MSBSHSE.

The board recently declared the Maharashtra HSC, SSC time table 2021. The SSC board exam will be held between April 29 and May 20, 2021, while the HSC board exams will be held between April 23 and May 21, 2021.

“There are demands for extension of the exam. Many people are also demanding to hold the exam online, but with two months remaining for the exam, there is no need to further extend the exam dates. We have decided to hold offline exams. Students should focus on their studies instead of wasting time thinking about how the exam will be held. If the number of cases increases in the future, we will make a decision after reviewing the situation at that time,” Patil further added.

Students must finish studying their Maharashtra 10th, 12th syllabus and solve, practice, and analyse Maharashtra HSC, SSC previous years' question papers to get familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, and the different types of question asked in the exams.

What is wrong with the Education Ministry? Why is it hell bent on making the students lives miserable? Through out the year the students have been online. They have got used to this system. When they appear for offline exams they will fare very badly as they will have very low confidence .

Before taking 10th boards exams 2 months of offline schooling should be compulsory. school is taking online prelims and suddenly giving offline exams will make students uncomfortable, freeked out . Maybe you should take online boards as students are getting comfortable with it .

That is absolutely correct. The prelims are online, The studies also went online, So most of the students will definitely get scared of the exam and will be more uncomfortable than they have ever been before.

10th exam should be conducted online because the government knows that this is not a normal year and the students are facing problems regarding studies. Till January it was not even clear if exams will be conducted or not. Don't pressurize students please.

Board should give some extension to students. Also change the paper format. Students should get some relaxation as it came all off sudden for the time table. Till January it was not clear about the exams being conducted. Hope everyone agreed to this.
