Kashmir University Admissions 2021: Last date UG admissions extended until May 10

Candidates interested in Kashmir University Admissions 2021 must note that the process has been extended until May 10, 2021.

Kashmir University Admissions 2021: The University of Kashmir decided to extend the last date for admission to 1st-2nd Semester Choice Based Credit System Scheme for BABSc/BScH/BComm/BCA /BBA/BMMMC/OCMIL (General/Honors) programme at the Undergraduate level (in respective colleges). Candidates interested in Kashmir University Admissions 2021 must note that the process has been extended to May 10, 2021.

According to a varsity’s spokesperson applicants can refer the already issued detailed notification available on the University website, i.e. www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in. for eligibility and all other conditions related to admission. Meanwhile, KU spokesperson also stated that the undergraduate and postgraduate semester exams will remain deferred until May 15.  Earlier, Kashmir University announced the postponement of the semester exams due to rising cases of the novel coronavirus in the state until May 2. Considering the safety of the students, the University further decided to keep its hostels closed until May 1.

While talking to a reputed media source, KU spokesperson said, “The University of Kashmir has decided to postpone all its offline examinations, including for UG and PG courses, until May 15 and close its hostels May 1.” However, an official announcement on this is yet to be released by the Kashmir University. The University is also yet to announce the new date sheet for semester examinations.

An official statement released by the University earlier said, “It is notified for the information of all concerned that all the University Offline PG and UG Examinations scheduled till May 2, 2021, are hereby postponed, in view of the prevailing circumstances. The fresh dates of postponed examinations will be notified later on.”
