IIT Delhi Introduces Executive Programme in Robotics to Shape the Future of Automation

IIT Delhi has launched an Executive Programme in Robotics designed to shape the future of automation. The programme will be conducted through live interactive sessions.
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has unveiled its Executive Programme in Robotics, designed to bridge the skill gap and empower professionals to innovate, lead, and excel in the rapidly evolving technological landscape. Delivered through live interactive sessions in a Direct-to-Device (D2D) format, the programme offers a blend of industry-focused lectures, tutorials, hands-on tools, and project-based learning. Participants will also enjoy a unique one-day campus immersion at IIT Delhi, providing firsthand exposure to the institutionโs world-class academic and research excellence.
The programme is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of robotics, spanning foundational principles to advanced applications. Participants will gain practical experience in building robotic devices, programming, and leveraging advanced tools such as sensors, actuators, and the Robotics Operating System (ROS) to design and manage complex robotic systems.

Curriculum of Executive Programme in Robotics
The curriculum features six thoughtfully designed modules: Fundamentals of Robotics and Automation, Sensing and Perception, Actuators and Motion, Modeling with AI and Machine Learning, Embedded Control and Mechatronics, and Applications with Future Directions. Participants will also gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant tools, including CAD software, 3D printers, and Arduino, equipping them to work on real-world projects and develop industry-aligned skills. Furthermore, the programme emphasizes multidisciplinary career opportunities in roles such as Robotics Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, and Robotics Programmer.
